    From Wikipedia;

    “Serco Group plc is a British Outsourcing company…founded in 1929 as a United Kingdom division of the Radio Corporation of America…Serco publishes a magazine, Ethos Journal, to stimulate thought and provoke reaction to the big issues shaping the world of public services. Ethos is aimed at public sector leaders, politicians, academics and policy specialists debating the future of public services today….is now under criminal investigation by the Serious Fraud Office over the contract, where the Ministry was allegedly invoiced for tagging work that was never carried out… repaid £68.5m to the government for its overcharging on the contract. In May 2014 a Survation poll for campaign group We Own It, found that 63% of respondents thought Serco should be banned from bidding for any new public contracts after the firm was investigated for overcharging…systemic failure by Serco to manage the Christmas Island Immigration Reception and Processing Centre…there has been an increase of deaths in custody, self-harm, and of Serco staff beating prisoners…Serco has a contract with the City of Chicago, Illinois to enforce parking meter regulations….In July 2013 Serco was awarded a $1.25 billion contract to manage the implementation of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act….”

    Normally, I would ask how did they know in July 2013 that this large contract would be needed since the exchanges didn’t open until Oct. 2013? But considering that employees are doing nothing, it appears that doing something wasn’t a consideration for the size of the contract.

      For heaven’s sake, what’s with all the foreign outsourcing companies. Do we at least have some American companies to milk us dry?

    News on the Ocare signup ‘success’; Judicial Watch’s FOIA request uncovered the info. that on the first day of enrollment, Oct. 1, 2013, one person enrolled out of 43,208 accounts created. Woo Hoo! 1 for 43k! What a batting average! The only way to beat that is to do nothing. OMG, that’s why they awarded the Serco contract. 1 for 43k wasn’t bad enough.
