    On the 10th anniversary of President Reagan’s passing, The Military Channel featured a documentary on the president by Tom Brokaw. The feature was several years old and showed Mr. Reagan in a positive light. In spite of the many trials which assailed him, including an assassination attempt and a bout with cancer, Tom Brokaw said he made it all look so easy. I appreciated Mrs. Reagan also and her ladylike demeanor. What a gentleman and what a lady.

    I was blessed to see President Reagan in 1982 at the World’s Fair in Knoxville, TN…I will always count it as one of the treasured moments of my life. Conversely, if I were to run into Obama at one of my granddaughter’s ball games, let’s say, all I would be thinking is, “Why the heck is HE here????”
