I think this is one of the more diplomatic ways to describe Obama’s attitude toward Israel. And there’s much more in this clip as well, including discussion about the American media’s biased coverage of Israel as the conflict with Hamas continues.

I think this: there is a bias within the American press, there is a bias against Israel. It’s more a bias that requires Israel to hold itself to a higher standard, because Israel claims to. And by and large, the Israelis do behave better than the Hamas, which is an extremist terrorist organization, officially listed as a terrorist organization. So Americans expect more of Israelis…
AN: Let’s talk about the administration and how you see them or the President and his, his folks handling this and their support of Israel.JM: Well normally, the Israelis believe the President has not been sympathetic to them and has not really asked the Palestinians to do what it has asked them to do: make the concessions.
But in this instance, Arthel, I really think that they have stood up and said, the White House has said, people have a right to defend their homes and their territories, they have a right to fire back.I think where it’s going to get dicey between Israel and the administration is if Israel decides that it has to send land forces into Gaza to clean out the Hamas rocket launchers that would be a very long, and a very difficult, and a very bloody confrontation and it would almost certainly upset the administration and elicit some criticism from the administration.
Of course the News Media is biased, they are in lockstep with this president and his socialistic view of things. He said he would stand with his brother Muslims didn’t he? Israel should do what it has to do for its people and well being, and tell Obama to go POUND sand if he doesn’t like it!
Miller’s analysis is spot -on. The Israelis have always been very sensitive to “world opinion,” and especially sensitive to American opinion.

But this time, it looks like Israel is finally going to “take care of business,” and not buckle under pressure from POTUS or anyone else; the abduction/murder of the three Israeli teens was a national trauma for Israelis, and a “sucker-punch” to Jewish communities around the world. It unleashed a great deal of anguish, as well as anger. Enough is enough!

Agreed! Enough is enough. Israel is the victim. Israel didn’t start this. Israel should finish this on their terms. Praying for Israel.
Relative to Obama sympathies; he is hosting an Iftar dinner tonite, July 14, ending Ramadan. On the official WH website, there is no mention of dinner though in an earlier press release the WH states that an Iftar dinner will be held. There is also a protest planned for tonight to protest treatment of Palestine.
