The Democrats must be really panicked, with all the mudslinging and hysteria they are exhibiting.

Debbie Wasserman’ Schultz’s now infamous smear of Scott Walker comes to mind.

And, last week, Nancy Pelosi asserted that if the Republicans take the Senate, “civilization as we know it would be in jeopardy.”

But now the Dems have reached a new low in cravenness:

As reported in Investor’s Business Daily: Democratic Lawmakers Call Benghazi Security Officers Liars, Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., had called the upcoming Benghazi Select Committee “a colossal waste of time” and a “red herring.” Pelosi, however, chose him to be one of the Democrats to sit on the committee.

….The hearing came right after Kris Paronto, Mark Geist and John Tiegen, three CIA contractors who on that night fought terrorists from the roof of the CIA’s Benghazi annex building, confirmed that there was indeed a stand-down order given that caused a critical half-hour delay.

Without that order, they say, Stevens and security contractors Tyrone Woods, Glen Doherty and Sean Smith might not have died that fateful night.

The story of the attack is contained in the trio’s new book “13 Hours”. The contractors said they had a team assembled and were ready to move to the consulate within five minutes of notice of the attack. They were held back by the top CIA security officer in Benghazi, a man identified only as “Bob.”

Tiegen has said that he warned “Bob” that critical time was being lost. “And Bob just looks at me and said, ‘Stand down, you need to wait.'” Without the delay, Paronto said, “Ambassador Stevens and Sean (Smith), yeah, they would still be alive, my gut is yes.”

Schiff is now claiming that the three contractors fabricated their story in order to sell their book.

Really, these Dems have no shame.

“Dems Stoop To New Low, Call Benghazi Heroes ‘Liars’”

From what I’ve seen the last 6 years, can this be far behind?:
“Better to reign in Hell, than serve in Heaven.”

The corruption of our government is colossal. We may lose it all. These are dangerous times. Their delusion is complete.

Reminds me of Harry Reid saying all those lies from House floor because he’s immune from slander/libel law for statements made in Congress. While I mostly want Congress to have to follow the law as we do, I don’t want slander/libel to apply to Congressional statements. Democrats would go after Republicans incessantly if that were the case. The correct discipline for Democrats lies like this are; 1) a workable congressional ethics panel (doesn’t exist for either Party), 2) media shaming (doesn’t exist for Democrats), and 3) voters holding unethical politicians to account (doesn’t exist for Democrats). Given that, Republicans could still fight the Democrat lies. Bueller? Bueller? Crickets?
