Obama-superman

What a relief! For the past six days, we all thought that the faux-POTUS made a fool of himself and of the U.S., with his pronouncement that he does not have a strategy to deal with ISIS.

But thank God we have faux-Conservative, faux-thinker Joe Scarborough to set us straight:

Via Mark Finkelstein – Newsbusters: Scarborough Defends ‘No Strategy’ Obama: ‘Straight Out of The Art of War’

Alexander the Great. Stonewall Jackson. George S. Patton. To this list of some of history’s greatest military strategists, a new name must be added: that of Barack Obama. That is, if you agree with Joe Scarborough’s take on President Obama’s statement at yesterday’s press conference that “we don’t have a strategy yet” regarding possible attacks on ISIS in Syria.

According to Scarborough, speaking on today’s Morning Joe, President Obama’s “no strategy” statement was “straight out of The Art of War where when you were weak, you make your enemies think you were strong. When you were strong, you make your enemies think you were weak.”

I have no idea which channel MSNBC is on in NYC.

And I intend to keep it that way.

Wikip: He [Sun Tzu] thought that strategy was not planning in the sense of working through an established list, but rather that it requires quick and appropriate responses to changing conditions.

By his definition, Sun Tzu agrees, Obama has no strategy.

Similarity to having no clue makes for a morning show host. Moronic Joe.

I think Joe Scarborough has proved that stupid is contagious. Too much hang time with Mika.

Oops. Joe was probably thinking about the 1992 movie Gladiator

Easy to make a mistake like that when you’re desperately trying to protect Obama’s arse.

Or when you are weak make your enemy think you are lame.

A note. Obama’s latest fundraising speech.

This crazy jackass repeatedly tells us the genocidal lunatics of the world, the ones that speak endlessly in the name of Islam, the ones that all those “moderate Muslims” can’t renounce without pressure, and even then with equivocation…ISIS doesn’t reflect Islam, Hamas doesn’t reflect Islam, the 9/11 hijackers don’t reflect Islam…do the fantasies ever end, do the lies ever end?

…we’ve seen the barbarity of an organization like ISIL that is building off what happened with al Qaeda and 9/11 — an extension of that same mentality that doesn’t reflect Islam, but rather just reflects savagery, and extremism, and intolerance.

Maybe I should be grateful Obama actually mentioned the “I” word.

And Taranto points out this discrepancy: First,

Now, let me say this: We are living through some extraordinarily challenging times…

followed a couple sentences later by:

The truth of the matter is, is that the world has always been messy. In part, we’re just noticing now because of social media and our capacity to see in intimate detail the hardships that people are going through.

So make up your mind. Are these extraordinarily challenging times, or has the world always been messy? Who cares?, it’s just blah blah blah, another day, ISIS beheading another journalist, and Obama beheading to another fundraiser. God help us.
