Just finished saying a rosary for all the victims (including Benghazi)and families and for the peace of the world. Now listening to the only channel (NY 1) that is at Ground Zero reading the names of the lost. Can never forget.

Saying a novena for the victims and families today. Join Americans
in remembrance of those who died on 9/11/2001, their families and all
who were directly affected by the events of that horrific day. Please stop
at precisely 9:00 and 11:00 am to pray or sit in silence for all of those
    souls. We will NEVER FORGET.

We are still “one nation, under God.” May God bless and keep America.

Thank You for posting those pictures Isaac T. They are sad, but they honor the responders and the victims in a special and important way. Until pretty recently I’ve avoided looking at television and pictures of September 11, 2001.

Today’s tweets by Ari Fleischer documenting what happened that day are fascinating.

    May God bless America.

Generation 9/11: Growing up in the shadow of the towers

    http://nypost.com/2014/09/10/generation-911-growing-up-in-the-shadow-of-the-towers/

Drove in this morning to Manhattan, thought I would be “ok” but then I saw the flag at half-mast at the Triboro Bridge, and suddenly I was not ok… I cried for all the lost souls and for all the families and friends who will bear the pain for the rest of their lives.

The weather was overcast in NYC today. Matches the mood of the day.

    May God bless the U.S.A.

Those who never learn their history will be condemned to repeat it. 🙁

Bing featured the September 11 Memorial and Museum. Nothing from Google.

My daughter-in-law Jennifer Gidman Zumpano wrote this today and it expresses how so many of us feel, I had to share it:
Driving west on Northern State Parkway, not too long after passing the Round Swamp Road exit, you crest a hill and can see, on a very clear day, the silhouette of the Empire State Building in the distance. You used to be able to see the Twin Towers. Even after 13 years, my brain’s muscle memory can’t turn off and remind me they’re not there to look for anymore. I still look. Every time.

The other day I was driving west and saw the Freedom Tower rising up, after so many years of a barren horizon along that bend in the road. We say “never forget” to each other, though everyone here knows that’s impossible. But seeing that tower made me remember we also never forget to rebuild, to give terrorism the finger, to laugh and love, and to offer a hug or a kind word or other support to those who will always feel the pain of that day. Peace.

I remember Alan Jackson’s refrain in, Where Were You When The World Stopped Turning.

Faith, hope and love are some good things He gave us
    And the greatest is love
