Washington Times: If the government is paying the bill, it’s best to die young:
Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel suggests life is not worth living after 75

Much is being made of Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel’s essay in The Atlantic, “Why I Hope to Die at 75,” where he argues that dying at 75 would be best for everyone. He’s entitled to his opinion, of course, but what makes this especially concerning is his role as an architect of the so-called “Affordable Care Act” (Obamacare), his position as director of the Clinical Bioethics Department at the U.S. National Institutes of Health and his close relationship with President Obama as an adviser on health issues….

….While presented by Dr. Emanuel as his personal intention to die at 75, this is, in fact, a message for all Americans. His goal is to plant the seed that limiting our lifetimes should be a serious consideration in itself, and weaved into our own health care decisions….

In the context of Obamacare, this is the beginning of a conditioning of older Americans and their families to accept the notion that if you have a chronic disease or an injury or weakness that’s expensive to treat, and you’re 75 or older, perhaps the less-expensive hospice is the better option….

Heard so many discussions of Dr. Zeke’s comments, and the focus was always on how “strange” of him to share these personal thoughts with the world. Btw, his parents are in their 80’s, so maybe they should hire a food taster. Just a suggestion…

On a lighter note…Word on the street has it that Bill Clinton is celebrating Chelsea’s little bundle of joy by passing out these.

Ezekiel Emanuel means God will strengthen him, God with us. This man sure doesn’t live up to his name does he. He reminds me of DR. Heinz Doofenshmirtz on Phineas and Ferb when my granddaugthers and I watch this very funny cartoon.

The Dr. is merely fulfilling the prophecy made in 1968 by Pope Paul 6th who wrote in “Humane Vitae” that mankind would find themselves promoting euthanasia if they continued down the road of contraception & abortion.
