Excellent interview, Tammy. You really hit the nail on the head on every point and on many levels. Great interview and great to hear our point of view spoken in such a calm, rational, thoughtful and intelligent manner! Kudos~

And thank you, Patricia, for bringing us this interview. Those of us that currently have NO access to any of the FOX channels because Dish Network can’t seem to pull their heads out of their respective behinds, are very appreciative. At least we got to see something good on FOX today.

And one last comment, if I may? Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that Alan Combs can raise at least one eyebrow all the way up to his much receding hairline? With his buggy eyes, it makes him look almost alien like, IMHO.

Tammy, I *love* the way you went in “for the kill,” with the Gabby Giffords comment. You said it with a smile. Now *that* takes talent. *I* would have just grabbed hold of Alan’s raised eyebrow (see Dekamica’s comment) to rip it off his head. *Not* that I have anger management issues when it comes to Libs…. 🙂

  3. Dekamica says:

hahahahaha ROTFLMAO! Thank you, Shifra, I thought I might be the only one who wanted to strangle that wacky, eyebrow raising loon. No anger management issues here either. 🙂

Tammy, you were calm and focused while Alan was flailing. It looked like Alan had a deer-in-the-headlights moment when you commented about Gabby Giffords.

    Exquisite work, Tammy dear! Wow!

  6. groosevelt says:

Alan Colmes has built an entire career on ” If you can’t dazzle them with brillance , baffle them with bullsh** “. Tammy, as usual, you were poised and articulate. Thanks

Congrats Tammy – I would have been screaming at Alan before the interview was done. Well, truth be told it would be within the first minute of listening to his tripe..

  8. Maynard says:

What’s up with Alan Colmes’s eyebrows? They look like something between Beavis and Mr. Spock. Enquiring minds want to know. (Older images looked more like The Crypt Keeper.)

  9. rickh says:

Tammy, how on earth can you sit there and tolerate that cretin so calmly? You got him good with the Palin comment too. Nice jab!

Thanks for posting, Patricia 🙂 Excellent job, Tammy! I’ll credit Alan for being a master at manipulating stats and anecdotes for his benefit. It takes a real pro to cut through his pretzel logic and Tammy does it with class, a smile and a nuke.

Shifra, how about we go stand outside that Fox window and make faces at Alan?

Thanks for the Video post, no FOX News channels here 🙁

Next time Tammy is on with Alan she needs to take a page out of the movie Moonstruck. Give him a good slap and yell ” snap out of it ! “

It’s great to see you in the Fox rotation more often. I always love hearing your astute and intelligent observations. You and the entire Tam Team are great.

I think it is sad that Fox News puts on brilliant conservative commentary along with with a leftist fool like Alan Colmes. It legitimizes him when, such as in this instance, he was nothing more than a distraction saying “playing politics” over and over again. I think Fox Hews is doing a disservice to its audience with a segment like this because it is not a debate of equally legitimate points of view, although it is presented that way. Rather, the debate segments are always someone like Tammy presenting a thoughtful case with nothing more that a heckler along side her; Juan Williams, Kirsten Powers et al. This is one of the reasons why I rarely watch Fox News anymore. I broaden my knowledge much more effectively listening to shows like Tammy’s. With that being said, my wife and I always watch Tammy when we know she is on. She’s the best.

I’ve got a serious question about this exchange, because it’s a microcosm of our civil war. I’m not a follower of Alan Colmes, but my general sense has been that he’s a smart, decent guy, and I can’t just dismiss him as another lying jackass. But he seems sincerely incredulous at the notion that the Democrat political leadership is fanning the flames of hatred and divisions, and thus encouraging the violent mob. What Tammy said strikes me as so obvious and true that I don’t understand how someone like Colmes could just dismiss it as conspiracy theory stuff. This shows our most essential problem: People will always disagree about ideas, but how is it that we can’t agree on fundamental reality? It’s as if Colmes has come to Fox out of some alternate reality in the Twilight Zone. What’s going on, that we come from such different universes?

  16. Teri says:

    Tammy-classy. Alan Colmes-unhinged.

  17. SACPAC says:

Note, just refer to Alan Colmes as “skull”, such a fine similarity and his head is empty too! They are from an alternate universe, it is called ‘denial land’ or Obama world, take your pick…

At the Home Depot this rainy Christmas Eve morning an associate (whose accent was an immediate giveaway that he’s not from around here) noticed me reaching for a blue light bulb and asked, “What do you do with that?” Surprised by my response that it is for solidarity with the NYPD, he told me his brother and uncle are on the NYPD and they are pretty scared right now. I said, “God Bless them. Tell them we are thinking about them and praying for them.” The little things matter.
