Shame on BBC reporter Tom Willcox, who ‘ambushed’ a French Jewish daughter of Holocaust survivors during an interview at the Paris march.

Via Times of Israel: BBC links Jew-hatred to Palestinian suffering ‘at Jewish hands’

While interviewing a Jewish woman at the Paris rally on Sunday, a BBC reporter linked rising anti-Semitism and Palestinian suffering “at Jewish hands,” and urged the woman to see the “different perspectives” on Jew hatred in Europe

The woman, identified as Chava — originally from Israel, and the daughter of Polish Holocaust survivors — compared the situation in Europe in the 1930s to the present, saying she felt “not secure” in France….

“We have to not to be afraid to say that the Jews, they are the target now,” she said.

The interviewer, Tom Willcox, interjected: “Many critics, though, of Israel’s policy would suggest that the Palestinians suffered hugely at Jewish hands as well.”

The flustered Chava proceeded to say that the two should not be conflated, when Willcox continued: “But you understand, everything is seen from different perspectives?”

Willcox later apologized for his “poorly phrased” question.

Apology not accepted…

Wikipedia entry on Tim Willcox has already been updated with this. Wikip. contains these other information items:

“On November 8, 2014 Willcox stated that the Labour Party would lose funding from Jewish sources because a lot of “Jewish faces” would be against the mansion tax. The tax refers to a Labour proposal for an additional tax on properties worth $3.5 million or more.”

“Willcox is married to Sarah, and the couple have four children. In November 2012 it was widely reported that Willcox was having an affair with BBC colleague Sophie Long.”

As with most European countries, UK has been in denial about Muslim immigration for some time. Even at a rally for freedom following horrific murders, the establishment can’t step back from their paradigm. I blame the EU for letting anti-semitism resurface so broadly. Need the EU to break up to let the sun shine in.

Is this a fair assertion, or is it taken out of context? A Daily Caller article: “Jimmy Carter Blames Recent Terror Attacks On ‘Palestinian Problem’”.

…In the wake of the Islamist terror attacks in France against cartoonists and Jews, former President Jimmy Carter’s first reaction was to pin the motivation for such terrorism on Israel’s treatment of the Palestinians. Appearing on “The Daily Show” Monday, Carter was asked by host Jon Stewart whether the violence the world saw on the streets of Paris was actually fueled by something else other than Islamic extremism.

“Well, one of the origins for it is the Palestinian problem,” Carter replied. “And this aggravates people who are affiliated in any way with the Arab people who live in the West Bank and Gaza, what they are doing now — what’s being done to them. So I think that’s part of it.”…
