Via Daily Caller: Report: Biden Told Chinese Leader That US Focus On Human Rights ‘Doesn’t Make Us Better’
Joe Biden apparently doesn’t think America’s focus on human rights makes it superior to authoritarian regimes that systematically violate their people’s basic human rights.
At least that’s what he told Xi Jinping before the Chinese leader assumed his country’s top office, according to a report in the New Yorker magazine.
During meetings with Biden sometime in 2011 or 2012, Xi reportedly asked Biden why the U.S. places “so much emphasis on human rights”
“No President of the United States could represent the United States were he not committed to human rights,” Biden reportedly responded. “If you don’t understand this, you can’t deal with us. President Barack Obama would not be able to stay in power if he did not speak of it. So look at it as a political imperative. It doesn’t make us better or worse. You make your decisions. We’ll make ours.”

It’s a wonder this bumbling fool can even speak, with his foot always stuck in his mouth. They must have really tried hard to find someone as stupid as him for the nations 2nd spot.
I’m very cynical with Obama et al. I think there may be something larger here. The Trans Pacific Partnership trade deal that Obama (and GOPe) want, I think one of the roadblocks is Human Rights (worker rights: hours, conditions, eg, no slave labor). If we’re all the same, no need for that condition in trade deal.
Other than trade, remember the blind Chinese dissident who jumped out of confinement and fled to U.S. Embassy in Beijing in 2012. (One of Hillary’s last ‘great successes’ as SoS.) He ended up teaching at NYU. Well anyway, an Obama daughter is looking at NYU and if she goes, some questions may be asked. Though not by establishment media.
