I’m so grateful for so many things, not the least of which being our wonderful fellowship. Thank you all for making so much possible. Have a beautiful Easter and a good Passover as well 🙂 Here are a few links for the day, and please consider this an Open Thread. It has been a very busy week, but I think we’ve done some good work. Thanks for being there and having my back 🙂 Sending hugs to all!

    Happy Easter!

The springtime yellow jacket this Easter Sunday morning was nice, Tammy.

Open thread: 2015 is the 45th anniversary of the Non-Proliferation Treaty. So when it is mentioned that Obama wishes to use the UN to bypass Congress on the Iran ‘Agreement’, it is not by introducing some routine resolution but rather by use of the nearly month-long NPT Conference at the UN commencing April 27. (The U.S. logo for the conference is the Dove of Peace flying with an atom on its back). Amir Taheri column explaining the Disagreement on the Agreement. http://nypost.com/2015/04/04/translated-version-of-iran-deal-doesnt-say-what-obama-claims-it-does

Re open thread; the U.S. Ambassador to Czech Republic, Andrew Schapiro, just got into a little bit of hot water. He said on Czech TV that it will be awkward if Czech Rep. President goes to Russia WWII victory ceremony in May as no other EU leader plans to attend (because of Russia invasion of Crimea and Ukraine). Czech Pres. replied, mind your own business and the door to the Pres. Castle is closed to you. http://www.dw.de/door-closed-to-us-ambassador-to-prague/a-18362932

Amb. Schapiro went to Harvard Law with Obama and is a bundler, but otherwise seems like a bright guy and likely one of Obama’s better picks to be an Ambassador. Of note, his mother and grandparents lived in Prague when the Nazis marched in, so also likely that Amb. Schapiro is sensitive to fascists marching into your country. While the Czech Pres. may be a big jerk, there still is a larger point; the Czechs remember who let the Nazis march into Sudetenland in the first place. Munich Agreement may be dismissed today by U.S. media, but some remember it vividly.

Happy Easter from here, too. There’s at least one thing that liberals haven’t managed to spoil.

May the peace, love and light of renewal this day signifies, shine down upon all those who cherish life, love and the God who brings it. May it snuff out the darkness that those who wish to plunge us all into the everlasting darkness of evil, and bring light to the entire world. Peace, love and goodness to all. 🙂
