Senate UN Ambassador

In a rambling commencement speech to Barnard College graduates, Samantha Power…well…rambled.

Via Daily Caller: UN Ambassador Samantha Power Tells Fancypants College Grads How Afghanistan Is Superior To USA

Samantha Power, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, told the graduating class at all-female Barnard College that women continue to suffer from grave inequality in the United States in her commencement remarks on Sunday.

Power also suggested that Afghanistan is superior to the United States in at least one way in terms of women’s rights because women currently hold 28 percent of the seats in Afghanistan’s parliament.

Here are some more low points highlights of her speech:

Michelle Obama is brilliant.

Transgendered rights!

We have to shine a light on the dark chapters of our history: The lynchings in the Southern states from 1877 to 1950.

When she was working on Senator Obama’s presidential campaign, she was afraid to tell people she was pregnant, because they might look at her funny. And she might not be taken seriously.

Shout-out to Columbia Girl dragging her mattress onstage at graduation!

Applause…

Michelle Obama cannot get past the hatred toward white people her parents instilled in her and she rarely makes sense, transgendered have the same rights under the constitution as anyone else, the lynchings in the south were performed by dyed in the wool democrats, and Sam knows nothing about the extended history of Afghanistan. She fits right in with the other dopes in the UN.

Samantha Power, Hillary Clinton, Valerie Jarrett, and Susan Rice.

What do they all have in common?

Could be the Afghan students leave school with some marketable skills and no debt.

Yet another reason why the academia is becoming a big joke; keep letting clowns like this in your schools and it is no wonder why men and women aren’t thrilled about college.

Liberalism has taken over our institutes of higher learning for a long time now. Thanks to Obama, they’re more openly blatant about their hatred and contempt for the country than ever. His administration agrees with and encourages this kind of tripe.

Who would want a hack politician to speak at their graduation anyway? I would much rather hear from Captain America.

    >>Amb. Samantha Power: Afghanistan Is Superior To U.S.

Hmm… So you’ll go to Afghanistan, wear a black death shroud, swear-off driving, won’t go out without your nearest male relative (yuck), and promise never to darken the doorstep of the U.S. again.

Not sure about the fashion statement for Afghanistan though. Meh, what’s the difference? All countries are equal as long as you hate the U.S. and Israel.

A couple of things I don’t understand, though. Why does the U.S. have an immigration problem? If a sane person had to be dropped in the Middle East, why would he choose only Israel?

What? You won’t do it? You won’t defect to Afghanistan?

OK, I shouldn’t mock liberals. They have it so much harder than conservatives. They have to see the coherence of crazy ideas. And they do it! They are so superior to the rest of us!

We shouldn’t be envious, so I don’t wish to be a liberal. I’ll just be satisfied with days past and future, where we don’t have to hear the political views of stars and the country isn’t run by malignant children.

By this reckoning Rwanda is a model nation for the rest of the world with women holding over 63% of parliamentary seats.

What she really likes is the fact Afghanistan by law reserves a minimum 20% of council seats for women.
