When Ted Cruz was in Iowa, he explained “Texas-style gun control:”
“Hittin’ what you aim at.”
Tavis Smiley, however, was not amused.
And he tried to catch Cruz in a “gotcha” moment.
But Cruz “turned the tables” on Smiley, with a perfect response regarding the importance of the Second Amendment.

Tavis tries to be “fair and balanced” but after the interview, he wouldn’t shake hands with Ted, something he always does after the show.But true to form, he had Connie Rice on the next show and she said that Fox news refused to call Roof a racist insisting he was a terrorist. I’ve heard them all say different on Fox.
Smiley is a West Coast Charlie Rose, who I can’t stand either. Both have this demeanor, ivory tower attitude, pattern of speech, liberal/thought police vocabulary and a manner of asking loaded questions that make my skin crawl and head spin.
