koskinen

No, not the one you wanted to see taken down, but this one is next in line. Lois Lerner is LHAO right now. Koskinen thrown under the Obama bus. Who knew there was anymore room there?

Via Fox News.

House Oversight Committee Chairman Jason Chaffetz began the impeachment process against IRS Commissioner John Koskinen Tuesday, accusing him of misleading the public and destroying documents that were being sought under a congressional subpoena.

It’s the latest move in the battle over tea party targeting at the tax agency, and comes less than a week after the Justice Department issued a report finding no criminal behavior in the IRS’s decision to subject conservative groups to intrusive scrutiny.

Among the specific charges Mr. Chaffetz and 18 of his fellow Republicans on the committee allege are that Mr. Koskinen misled Congress when he said he’d turned over all of former IRS senior executive Lois G. Lerner’s emails, and oversaw destruction of evidence when his agency destroyed backup tapes that contained the emails.

Here’s the link to the Committee’s website. During the ‘Obamacare’ vote fiasco, I distinctly remember that Maloney woman trying to pull some kind of shady deal and she was completely crushed by the blowback of her idiotic ideas.

There are 24 ‘Republicans’ on the committee but the story says ’18 of his fellow Republicans’ So who are the ones that don’t think the IRS Chief Moron didn’t lie or withhold information? With our National Media, we’ll never know…

This, my TAMily, is very important news! I am extremely happy about this first off:)

After how Catherine Englebrecht, Hobby Lobby and others like the Little Sisters of The Poor have been fradualently mishandled, the founding fathers are rumbling in their after life rest no doubt as they watch us fight with everything we have to keep the Republic affloat!

There is no way that karma, fate, God… would just let the Lois Lerner thing stand.

    burn baby, burn Koskinen’s IRS.

Good and the Republicans should follow through. Be prepared for Dems (and legacy media) to use this as ‘overreach’ example throughout 2016. My understanding is that if Kos. resigns, he can still be impeached but the only practical effect then is that he can’t have future federal employment, he still gets his federal retirement.

A little history from House website:

“The House has initiated impeachment proceedings more than 60 times but less than a third have led to full impeachments. Just eight—all federal judges—have been convicted and removed from office by the Senate….”

FWIW, the first impeachment was of a Senator in 1797. The precedent setting outcome was, Congressmen can not be impeached. They can be removed from Office by a vote of their chamber, but they can’t be impeached. The Senate did remove the Senator.

They should fire the whole of IRS and start from scratch.
