hasselbeck

I was very disappointed when I heard this. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting her on a number of occasions, and being interviewed by her on Fox & Friends. She’s as genuine, thoughtful, and smart as she appears on the show, a real gem.

She’s leaving to spend more time with her kids, and that’s certainly understandable. Still, she’s been a great addition at Fox and it’s sad to see her go. All the best to her and her family!

After two years on the early morning set, Elisabeth Hasselbeck announced Monday that she will step down from her role as co-host of “Fox & Friends” on FOX News. The mother of three has decided to curtail her TV career while she raises her children – all under 10 years old.

“Oftentimes, the most difficult decisions are between two great things. Throughout my 14 years working in television, I have never experienced a more positive and thoughtful atmosphere than FOX News Channel,” Mrs. Hasslebeck said Monday citing network CEO Roger Ailes for creating “the best working environment a woman and mother could ask for,” and for his kindness and compassion.

“I am entering into a season where I want to start my day with my children first, and he offered his blessing to do so. With a heart full of gratitude and the peace that God has given me, I am confident that this personal decision is the right one for our family,” she continued.

“While I would love for her to continue here, I respect her incredibly difficult, yet deeply personal decision. She has been a great addition to the Fox & Friends franchise,” Mr. Ailes said.”

I’m happy for her. Although she will be missed on Fox, her children have now gained a full-time mommy, and that’s something irreplaceable.

The Fox talent is deep enough to fill that gap quickly.

I join Tammy in the sadness of seeing this steadfast and staunch personality leaving public life, at least for now. Her perseverance in breathing the same air in the same room with that mottled lot on The View alone testifies both to her courage and to her strong stomach. Her values and her heart seem to be just in the right place, as she puts the most important people in the world — her family — first. I, too, shall miss her and wish her great good fortune.

Indeed, Mrs. E. Hasselbeck was/is very much solid and strong in character and exampled backbone. You know, I must say though, I have enjoyed guest hosts such as Sandra Smith and even Ms. Kooiman. I like the grace of Sandra Smith.

Anyway, I support E. Hasselbeck for all she has done to stick to her values. American style and AMERICAN values. She surely made Whoopi G Berg look like an evil brute after the crying episode, lol. Elizabeth has an honest soul and when Whoopi made the tears flow, we all got pissed. Hasselbeck’s honesty and heart on her sleeve is her sweet trademark style that we all have grown to love.

“Whoopi G Berg look like an evil brute” Kudos on the best, most concise description of that loud, thuggish, talentless street corner stander I’ve seen to date.

She was perfect on F&F and has been lovely in all she does. A great choice to make more time for her children. Perhaps she can do guest spots. Now I need to search for her interview with Tammy!

Like her comment that she’s leaving to become, CBO (Chief Breakfast Officer).

    Best Wishes Elizabeth!

Best wishes for Elizabeth. I have been following her and her career ever since she was on the second season of Suvivor-The Austrailian Outback. Back before she got married, her name was Elizabeth Filarski. She came in fouth place on the show, and has had quite a career since then.
