Excellent Tammy. Put the poll in context of voters concerns and policy. Alan placed focus strictly on the personal. Voters are sick of how does such and such affect the politician.
Colmes has new glasses? The crap between his ears obscured that for me.
Tammy’s vital point is that we resonate to Trump because we sense a looming catastrophe, and we seek someone, anyone, who’s not another mealy-mouthed business-as-usual see-no-evil lemming king. Up to a point, the more outrageous Trump is, the more I root for him; I’m sick of decent people being destroyed by neo-McCarthyites on the altar of political correctness. At an emotional level, I want to watch Trump offend and thrive! Then maybe some of the other cowering masses of protoplasm will grow a spine and offer us some alternatives to this blowhard. No, I’m not on Trump’s bandwagon, and I hope another Republican takes the prize…but I want it to happen because the other guy got it right, and not because Trump stumbled. And as for Alan Colmes, with his whiny demand that the other Republicans ought to be condemning Trump, all I can say is: Where were you when Obama’s God-damn-America boycott-Israel hatemongering church was revealed? Quiet as a little mouse you were, you damned hypocrite!
