2016-new-year

Yes, 2015 was pretty bad, but we knew what we were in for with the re-election of The Jerk. I don’t expect 2016 to be like 2015, I expect it to be worse. We have malignant narcissists and pathological liars in charge of the country. They know they have 12 more months to do as much damage as possible. But this reminds us of the importance of our work as regular citizens to stay informed and active on behalf of our wonderful country. The fellowship of Tammy Army members and our fans around the world will also make dealing with this next year a bit easier.

The most good news about 2016 is we will at least know who the next president will be and it won’t be Obama! While we won’t be rid of the jackass officially until January 20, 2017, 2016 is the year we dump him and his pathetic team of sycophantic menaces.

The bad guys also know they have only 12 months with which to do as much evil as possible, reinforcing how important the election is as the next president will have his hands full.

For more of my take on the next year, please check out this week’s column at the Washington Times: The bureaucrats’ last stand~~ A nation is only as good as its defenders.

So, when it comes to New Year Resolutions, I always re-commit myself to doing the best job I can helping to make a difference. I want to thank all of you for making this blog, Tammy Radio, and all my work possible 🙂 I’m eternally grateful for your support and encouragement.

I would love to see your comments here about your resolutions, and what you’re grateful for. And what about last year was special for you.

So may peace and love reign in 2016, and I know we’re going to have to kick ass for both 😉

Here are a few year-end lists that I found helpful, interesting and sometimes funny. Please add your own favorite (or not so favorite!) things from 2015!

Pasadena Star News: The best (or worst) news media corrections of 2015

Just two of the hilarious examples:

“Norma Adams-Wade’s June 15 column incorrectly called Mary Ann Thompson Frenk a socialist. She is a socialite.” — The Dallas Morning News.

“Last week’s column mistakenly misidentified a source. The European Commission president is Romano Prodi, not Buffy the Vampire Slayer.”— The Prague Post.

ABC 7 NY: NYC announces most popular baby names for last year; Sophia, Ethan top the list

Free Beacon: The Worst of MSNBC in 2015

Give MSNBC credit: The network’s higher-ups realized the channel was in drastic need of a change in 2015.

Five shows were canceled. Daytime programming was dramatically altered to focus on hard news instead of light-weight liberal commentary.

But true to its ultra-progressive nature, MSNBC still had another bizarre year, from Melissa Harris-Perry decrying the term “hard worker” because it demeaned slaves to a panelist suggesting Bobby Jindal was trying to appease conservatives and “scrub the brown off his skin.” […]

There are so many things to be grateful for.

And it’s so terrific to have the Tammy community/fellowship!

And aren’t we blessed that Tammy is on *our* side?

Here’s something else I am grateful for:

The thought of POTUS getting really despondent and *lost* when they leave the WH. The cameras will not be rolling, he will be old news, no more Air Force 1, no more fawning press lapping up every word. He will probably be reduced to running into Starbucks to surprise (scare?) customers, hoping for that “OMG it’s the President” moment.

I do think, though, that he does have one talent: He knows how to read a script. I’m thinking he could do very well doing voice-overs for TP commercials. Yep, he could be the new Mr. Whipple of Charmin fame.

    Happy New Year Tams!

Like the idea of BtVS as Gov’t leader. Here in my county, The Dept. of Permitting Services has shut down a very nice backyard ice rink because it’s located in an agricultural preserve. Dept. of Permitting Services??? You’re not Permitted! Orwellian name.

Happy 2016, Tammy, Shifra, Gina and all TAMs!

By nature I tend to be upbeat and optimistic, however, last week, a few circumstances– all beyond my control –were having a negative impact. 🙁 Then— Tammy to the rescue! I never miss her show and/or podcasts. She made one of her spot on comments about “the jerk” and she had me laughing out loud!!

Thank you, Tammy! I totally agree with Shifra—Thank God you are on OUR SIDE!!

    Happy, Healthy 2016 to all!

PS Any idea when TamCon 2016 will be?

Warm greetings and Happy New Year to Tammy and TAMs worldwide! I’m excited about what this year will bring. All my faith, hope and trust is in God and Him alone. Plus, I get to fellowship with like-minded people (TAMs) as we navigate through this year to chose a new leader for this great country. Be encouraged!

Been a member since day 1 in 2009 and a listener in some way or fashion since 2001 (when I heard you on Dr. Laura around 9/11 @ work) when I was 27, and still going strong. Thanks for having me and looking forward to your podcasts everyday. Happy New Year.
