An abstract artist bombed his security screening at Kennedy Airport when he tried to board his flight with a sculpture that looked like a makeshift explosive.
The alarming art project included a tin can filled with what looked like plaster and attached to a tangle of wires that are wrapped around three bundles of green plastic wrap with zip ties, according to a photo of the “abstract art.”
…The TSA hauled the artist aside when they discovered he was carrying the suspicious sculpture in his checked luggage on Wednesday….
But the traveler defended the useless contraption.
“It’s art,” he said…
