Pray for our first responders and everyone on the scene. And federal authorities had better investigate this. If this was a fire at a mosque on a holy day, the feds would have already had a press conference about their hate crime investigation.

Firefighters are battling a huge fire at a historic church in New York City.

Authorities say no injuries have been reported in the blaze that broke out early Sunday evening at the Serbian Orthodox Cathedral of St. Sava in Manhattan.

Smoke from the fire could be seen billowing from the Gothic style building.

The church was constructed in the early 1850s and was designated a New York City landmark in 1968.

A historic church in New York City was engulfed in flames Sunday evening, CBS New York reported.

Firefighters are battling the massive fire at Serbian Cathedral of Saint Sava on West 25th Street in Manhattan. The fire began around 7 p.m.

Authorities say no serious injuries have been reported. Parts of the roof collapsed and smoke billowed from the Gothic Revival style building, CBS New York reported.

    Yes, needs good investigation. Per wikip., St.Sava is the patron saint of Serbia. In 1594 uprising against the Ottomans, the Serbs fought under flags of Sava’s portrait. In retaliation, the Ottomans burned his remains. The St. Sava church in Belgrade is one of the largest churches in the world.
