Messing deleted the selfie tweet after a firestorm erupted on Twitter.
She explained that she was planning the selfie as an anti-gun protest, and was shocked by the “irony” of a shooting that day.
But she missed the real irony:

Actress Debra Messing apologized Wednesday after seemingly posting a selfie in reaction to the campus shooting in UCLA that left a professor and the gunman dead.
Messing tweeted, then deleted, a picture of herself wearing a t-shirt promoting the documentary Under the Gun (itself a source of controversy) shortly after the shooting began….

I really have no idea who this woman is, or why I should care what she thinks about guns. Stupid Hollywood, giving people, who repeat the words for a living that other people wrote, the silly notion that people give a damn what they think.
