In Obama’s television statement he never mentioned Islamic terrorism but he did talk about guns and blamed access to guns. Hillary echoed his remarks in a written statement, also not mentioning Islam but condemning… guns. She also bemoaned “other violent criminals.”

In his apperance, Obama appeared perturbed and distracted, and read his remarks like a rushed robot. I guess his plans fo the day got rudely interrupted by 50 dead Americans. It was the same irritated attitude he exhibited in Paris after that massacre which interferred with his climate change conference.

In his remarks there, he didn’t even lead with comments about the terrorism in Paris, he started with climate change. Putting aside political differences, something is very wrong with this man.

Via Washington Examiner: “Obama uses Orlando attack to call for gun control.”

President Obama on Sunday used the tragic mass shooting in Orlando Sunday to call for gun control measures.

“This massacre is a further reminder of how easy it is to get their hands on a weapon to shoot people in a school, or a house of worship, or a movie theater or a nightclub,” he said during remarks early Sunday afternoon at the White House.

He said the U.S. has to decide if that is the country we want to be, and to “actively do nothing is a decision as well.”

Obama declared the overnight shooting “an act of terror and an act of hate,” but did not characterize the attack as Islamist terrorism.

I’m a little worried that if I roll my eyes to these people’s statements anymore, I might do some permanent damage to my optic nerve. Surely it has to be exhausting to repeat yourself over and over, but perhaps Hill’s was replaced by a Teddy Ruxpin several years ago. Same ability for reflection.

Prayers for those lost and their loved ones. Heaven help the USA!

The WH removed the translation of Hollande saying Islamic terrorism. I’d ask Josh Earnest if they plan to reinsert the English translation. And isn’t Hollande showing good leadership by saying that.

I don’t feel jolly today but I’m going to make a joke anyway; Times when the country is united with one Pulse, Obama flatlines.

The terrorists are only props for Obama. He uses their deeds to try to force his evil agenda.

Islamic terrorism is a global phenomenon, claiming victims independent of whether the locals have access to guns, not to mention bombs. But this is never about facts, it’s about supporting the narrative at all costs, including the lives of innocent Americans. I don’t suppose this murderous attack on a class that gets special political protection will drive the point home of how utterly irrelevant Obama’s narrative is to keeping the nation safe.

I thought he might pull out the usual “workplace violence” meme he is so fond of using. Sick to death of 0bama’s response to violence by pointing to ‘guns as the problem’; the killer didn’t shout “NRA” as he began his murderous action.

On a somber note, everytime I hear about shootings now, my breathing stops for a bit. How many of these islamic terror acts have to take place before the people of this country wake up? The left began their derisive blame game on America and its citizens almost immediately after a pretense of ‘coming together’ after 9/11.
