Fact check: True!

Via RCP.

Donald Trump says that despite his politically incorrect and often imperfect way of speaking, his actions to prevent the spread of radical Islam will make him a better friend to the LGBT community than Hillary Clinton and her “words.”

“She can’t have it both ways,” he said about Clinton. “She can’t claim to be supportive of these communities while trying to increase the number of people coming in who want to oppress them.”

“Ask yourself, who is really the friend of women and the LGBT community,” he mused. “Donald Trump with his actions, or Hillary Clinton with her words?”

“Clinton wants to allow Radical Islamic terrorists to pour into our country—they enslave women, and murder gays,” he said. “I don’t want them in our country.”

At 2:10 does he say “Bigly”? …

I hope it was “Big League,” but it made me think: “Strategery.” (From the SNL sketch of the Bush-Gore presidential debate.)

I have to also (begrudgingly) admit he is getting better. He does need to lock himself in a room and practice LGBT LGBT LGBT. Just a tip from Flyover Country.

Good speech. I’d suggest that he find a different way to say, ‘Why? Explain.’ or lea9ve it out. That gets annoying if used repetitively in speeches. His facial expressions aren’t good and media will have a field day with that but his confidence in what he says is very high. Candy won’t get Trump flustered.

Trump will never have the politically perfect facial expressions or speeches. These are superficial expectations that aren’t what’s important this time around. I’ll take a strong leader (not afraid to speak the truth) over a great speech reader any day.

It is deeply troubling that anyone even needs to say something as obvious as what Donald Trump has said here, and even more troubling to observe the rabidly slanderous response it evokes from the people literally willing to die horribly in support of a suicidal political narrative.
