After eight years of bullying and hectoring Israel, Obama orders all US flags to be flown at half-mast in honor of the late former President of Israel.
This is like the abusive guy who throws his girlfriend down the stairs, breaking her leg, and then buys her flowers.

President Barack Obama announced he was heading to Jerusalem to attend the funeral of Shimon Peres and ordered flags flown at half-staff, a rare honor for foreign leaders.
In a proclamation late Wednesday, Obama said he ordered the flags to fly at “half-staff at the White House and on all public buildings and grounds, at all military posts and naval stations, and on all naval vessels of the Federal Government in the District of Columbia and throughout the United States and its Territories and possessions” through sunset Friday.
“I also direct that the flag shall be flown at half-staff for the same period at all United States embassies, legations, consular offices, and other facilities abroad, including all military facilities and naval vessels and stations,” the proclamation said.
A flag flown at half-staff for a foreign leader is rare. Obama ordered the honor after the death of Nelson Mandela, who led South Africa out of apartheid, in 2013. Prior to that, the last such foreign leader honored was Pope John Paul II, in 2005 by President George W. Bush….
“A light has gone out, but the hope he gave us will burn forever,” Obama said. “Shimon Peres was a soldier for Israel, for the Jewish people, for justice, for peace, and for the belief that we can be true to our best selves — to the very end of our time on Earth, and in the legacy that we leave to others. For the gift of his friendship and the example of his leadership, todah rabah, Shimon.”

Peres pushed for a 2-state solution. That is what Obama wants. He would not lower the flag for Bibi.
Are there polls showing Jews defecting from the Democrat Party and/or Hillary? Obama has consistently said that he’s the best friend of Israel. This seems consistent with that lie. May also be a calculation to provide cover for the Iran nuke deal, eg, he’s a great friend of Israel he wouldn’t do a deal that hurts Israel.

Off-topic; Daily Caller article informed that the Continuing Budget Resolution was literally written by Harry Reid. GOPe used a bill voted on in June as a shell for the CR and let Harry Reid write what he wanted and then the Senate passed it and then the House. Did that to get around originating the Bill in the House because Representatives would have introduced amendments. Founders required tax/budget bills originate in the House because of that whole Taxation without Representation thing. Establishment don’t need no stinkin Tea.
