Why do Leftists always romanticize brutal dictators?
In the 1930’s and 40’s, the “intelligentsia” adored Stalin, even though it was known that he was responsible for the executions of at least twenty million people.
And now, Castro has (finally!) died, after a brutal reign of over fifty years. But Leftists, true to form, cannot acknowledge the suffering of the Cuban people under “Fidel’s” vicious rule.
Canadian PM Justin Trudeau has really embarrassed himself with his absurd comments following Castro’s death.
And shame on Obama for his comments on Castro.

Social media users were quick to mock Prime Minister Justin Trudeau for his statement Saturday expressing “deep sorrow” about the death of former Cuban president Fidel Castro.
Trudeau acknowledged the late president was a “controversial figure,” but remembered him as “a legendary revolutionary and orator” who “made significant improvements to the education and health care of his island nation.”
People from around the world took to Twitter under the hashtag “.TrudeauEulogies” with similar eulogies, in the style of Trudeau’s, for various villains, both historical and fictional….
Trudeau’s statement on the death of Castro also drew criticism in a more serious form on Saturday, including from Conservative leadership hopeful Lisa Raitt who said that Trudeau should be ashamed of himself.

This is no mystery. It has been apparent for a very long time now that so-called “Liberals” (aka: Leftists) are not the tolerant people that they purport to be, but rather, they are closet Authoritative-Totalitarians who wish to control and subjugate all that surround themselves. These control freaks adore each other and wish to wield the same amount of power that the more successful of their type do. Let us remember Obama’s lament that he wished that he had the power to do the things he wished to do as does the brutal dictators of China do (but for that pesky Constitution).
Sunday’s WaPo Headline is: Revolutionary Remade Cuba. I guess Fundamentally Transformed was too long. WaPo has an editorial denouncing Castro but that doesn’t make up for the front page heading.
