My concern are the inside the beltway elite anti-Trump collaborators that will fight anytime, anyplace to preserve, protect and defend their positions of power under the guise of ‘reaching across the aisle’. Reminder, when you hear that phrase, it means selling out to the enemy. First on my list: Mitch McConnell.

I agree with much of what Rush said, but I am NOT nervous in the least. He is already selling Trump short. Remember, Conventional_Political_Wisdom hasn’t applied to Trump from the very beginning. If we had elected a politician, we/I would expect business as usual–bending over backwards (or forwards) so the other side will like us. That is NOT, and NEVER will be, Donald Trump. I think he is just being gracious in his words to HC and BO at this point. And, frankly, not supplying fodder for the lamestream media. Sure, the Republican establishment will try to hold on to their little dreams of maintaining the status quo, but it will all be for naught. TRUMP will set THE agenda. He will continue to surround himself with great people to help him accomplish that agenda. And won’t go around apologizing for winning or anything else.

I agree . I keep reminding myself of Mr Trump talking about not broadcasting your strategy / plan . He’ll let them think they might have the upper hand . And there will be plenty of time to lay down the hammer . Stealth !

Some of my friends are angry with me because I’m not sympathetic to their loss, nor feel the need to placate just to make them feel better. Battles are fought to be won because there is something of percieved value to be gained. Battles are not fought only to turn around and give away some of what has been gained. What would be the point of that?

“Don’t pick a fight. But if you find yourself in one, or you have to fight because it’s the right thing to do, you Fight-To-WIN, otherwise don’t bother.” Good old mom, rest her soul.

And like the Japanese with regard to their Emperor, the Democrats will have to acknowledge that Obama is not divine.

There are/were many things that President Elect Trump (really like saying that) could have said graciously re: HC, BO, Ryan and McConnel without being so complimentary. His words lend legitimacy to these people. His reversal on comments he made regarding the protest (riots) and the inclusion of lobbyists in the transition team go against some of his very basic tenants of what he campaigned on: “law and order”, “drain the swamp”. I know that there will be many things that he does that we will not agree with and we will have to hold his feet to the fire. If he only follows through on some promises, such as building the wall, repealing Obamacare, his tax plan our country will be in so much better shape. But I must admit that I am just a little concerned with some things we have seen in two days time. I’m just a chick in Arizona and it may just be that I’m not seeing the strategy – maybe somebody can help me with this.

Dont worry, see Minnie above, stealth! Most important, day one, reverse all Obama executive orders and “agreements”.

After finally being able to catch up on the podcasts of my second favorite host, my eyes are seeing the light. It seems that the big RINO, Chris Christy has been liberally (pun intended) sprinkling in to the transition team and list of cabinet post position: Bushies, Romney loyalists and chamber of commerce pukes. Things are making more sense. Now that Christy has been demoted my hope is that Mike Pence and Trumps children will get a handle on watching Trumps back. These decisions of who will fill his cabinet and complete his team are crucially important. We won’t get all our favorite picks in these positons, but Kelly Ayotte as Defense Secretary! Please, give me a break. Trump needs people loyal to him, not their own agendas.
