auschwitz

Today is International Holocaust Remembrance Day.

In honor of the millions of souls who were murdered, all the Trump-hating Dems need to stop comparing President Trump with Hitler; the “comparisons” are vile and disgusting, and trivialize the horror of all that happened during WWII.

Dozens of Auschwitz survivors placed wreaths and flowers Friday at the infamous execution wall of the former German death camp, paying homage to the victims of Adolf Hitler’s regime exactly 72 years after the camp’s liberation.

January 27, the anniversary of the day that the Soviet army liberated the camp in German-occupied Poland in 1945, is recognized as International Holocaust Remembrance Day. Commemorative events also were being held across Europe and Israel….

Elderly survivors at Auschwitz, which today is a memorial site and museum, paid homage to those killed by wearing striped scarves reminiscent of the garb prisoners once wore there.

They walked slowly beneath the notorious gate with the words “Arbeit Macht Frei” (Work Will Set You Free) and made their way as a group to the execution wall, where they lit candles and prayed.

Janina Malec, a Polish survivor whose parents were killed at the execution wall, told the PAP news agency that “as long as I live, I will come here,” describing her yearly visit as a “pilgrimage.”

In a similar bout of moonbattiness, the Seattle mayor today called Trump’s executive orders on immigration enforcement the “worst day for immigrants in America since Japanese internment.”
I am not implying that the Holocaust has some sort of equality to the internment of Americans during the WWII.
I am saying that the Progressives of today cheapen the horrific, historical facts and events to bolster their political points. Their reliance on stoking emotional fires instead of arguing on the facts is becoming not only wearisome, but ineffective. The race card is being rejected for insufficient veracity, and the Hitler card needs to be called out for the insult it is the Jews globally.

We must never forget the atrocities of the past and on the day
of the DC March For Life we can appreciate the suffering mankind can
impose on the helpless. It was great to see Vice-President Mike Pence
join the marchers to stand for life. L’Chaim.

People who equate Trump to Hitler are either grossly ignorant or have a sense of evil within themselves somewhere in order to conjure up words like that.
