She’s baaack!

In Hillary Clinton’s future, men need not apply.

The failed presidential candidate produced a video for the “Makers” conference and told attendees that, “Yes, the future is female.”….

“Despite all the challenges we face, I remain convinced that, yes, the future is female,” she said with a stiff smile.
She went on to praise the organized protests against President Trump….

She urged attendees to “set an example for every woman and girl out there who’s worried about what the future holds and wonders whether our rights, opportunities and values will endure,” Clinton said….

The Makers conference is being held at Terranea Resort in Ranchos Palos Verdes, California and is celebrating Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Gloria Steinem and Oprah Winfrey, among others, according to its website.

Powerful conservative woman Kellyanne Conway wasn’t included.

I know what she’s talking about,I saw the movie,it’s called Forbidden Planet.
Anne Francis starred as one of the many women in charge of outer space where no man dared to tread. Spoiler Alert: Men arrived by spaceship & had to save them.

First Makers conf. was in 2014. Was it started to support Hillary’s run? Interesting to see where it goes from here. Co-founder makes documentary films. Shown on PBS. Don’t know if PBS has provided her any money. Regardless, ending public funding of PBS will ensure that we don’t indirectly support such activities.

Excuse me, the future can decide for itself what gender it feels like being.

Well then I’m not a part of the future because I refuse to have a sex change.

I’m so confused. The future is feminine in German, but masculine in Spanish and French. Now Hillary tells me that it is feminine in English, which doesn’t really use gender.

HA! Yes Charles, that was great!!!

    • Chuck says:

I don’t think it’s as simple as you think.

You’re correct that in both languages, when referring to the noun “future”, the masculine form is used (“futuro” or “futur”), so “el futuro es femenino” or “le futur est féminin” use the masculine version of the adjective “feminine.”

However, in Spanish and in French, “future” can be an adjective and as such, take the gender of whatever is modifying, so it can be “futuro” or “futura” in Spanish, and “futur” or “future” in French. So you can say “el futuro presidente” or “la futura presidenta” in Spanish, and “le futur président” or “la future présidente” in French.

So, maybe the future is really transgender.

Hey Wonder Woman! Hillary borrowed your invisible plane!
Is she talking about the parade of the porno hats and, cussing women? Way too radical a future for me but, point taken. We call it busting down the door or, breaking the glass ceiling. Do we all have to dress like Margaret Thatcher? I guess it’s better than dressing like Madonna.
