Is it just me, or did Senator Al Franken (D-Minn) seem much more intelligent portraying Stuart Smalley on SNL?

Here, he tries to argue against President Trump’s extreme vetting plan.

And admits that some refugees in Minnesota have returned to Syria to fight with ISIS.

Oops.
