It looks like Democrats were singing that song, “na na na na, goodbye” at Republicans right after they passed the AHCA:
What they’re saying is that Republicans facing re-election will have a tough time because of the AHCA. BUT, doesn’t that show something of the character of the Democrats? SUPPOSEDLY the AHCA is going to murder every baby in America and force our grandparents to be sent to slaughterhouses, but Dems are happily singing that it’ll get them some seats in Congress….
A lot depends on what the Republicans will do with AHCA. If they screw things up, the Dems will be very happy in 2018 and we will be very sad.
I, for one, am pleased that the left continues to live in a delusional fantasy. Let’s not forget that the last four election cycles decimated the Democrat party, and in large part because of Obamacare. The American voters clearly did not like it and wanted it gone. If the Democrats think that this is a negative for the right, they are going to be surprised when the polls and future elections show otherwise.
Not impressed with GOP either. Friday’s NY Post reports that prior to the vote, GOP gathered in a room. Theme from Rocky played as they entered, K. McCarthy showed pic of Patton and ‘barked’ some of his quotes, and Martha McSally yelled, ‘Let’s get this f…ing thing done.’ Makes me long for sophomores.
