Well, it sort-of makes sense that Big Al would say this, since the “religion” of Liberals seems to be Global Warming, er Climate Change, er Climate Disruptions, er, whatever.
Former Vice President Al Gore is now telling his climate disciples that God commands us to go forth and fight global warming.
Engaging in some advanced publicity for his new global warming film spectacular, “An Inconvenient Sequel,” Gore told Interview Magazine that God didn’t create global warming and wants us to fix it.
In his comments, Gore equated the fight against global warming to a religious-based, moral crusade similar to the civil rights fight, women’s suffrage, and the abolitionist movement during the Civil War era. Gore insisted that it is a moral imperative to fight against climate change….

ROFL…God himself is in charge of the climate. And why in the world would God choose Al Gore of all people to get His message out? God has better judgment than that. Just saying.

God’s last glaciation ended 12,000 yrs ago. We are still considered to be in the last ice age (end of). More warming to come before climate reverses and glaciation begins again. Might have the magnetic poles swap before then. In summary, God loves climate change.
As I’ve said, the human-driven rise in atmospheric CO2 is a legitimate cause for concern, and the first-order effect of an increased retention of solar radiation is a sensible extrapolation. Forgive me, but some bits of this are indeed “settled science”, and the long-term effects on the ecosystem are not necessarily benign. My gripe is with the politics of green, which may be the biggest boondoggle in history, making apostles like Gore filthy rich while shifting American productivity offshore — as if shutting down a regulated American steel mill and replacing it with a dirty Chinese steel mill did anything to address the CO2. I suppose the Gores and Obamas of the world will regard America beggaring itself as a good thing, considering how evil we are, and especially considering that they’re getting rich as we get poor. But down the road, you can’t really expect China to follow our suicidal example.
Gaia is the Goddess of Mother Earth. I think that’s who Al was talking to.

Relative to Climate Change, SyFy channel has a new show, Blooddrive, starting on Wed. June 14. As I understand the premise, it’s based in Los Angeles in the near-future and cars now run on blood because climate change has increased temperature so much. With school ending, many teens may watch as something new during the summer. Will reinforce that climate change is the end of civilization.
