As you know, I’ve been cautiously optimistic. Ossoff had 5 times as much money as she did and couldn’t break out of the margin of error in the polls. If he couldn’t clinch the deal with that, it meant he wasn’t convincing people. Also, I believe the attempted assassination of 22 GOP congressmen reminded people about what’s at stake, and his reliance on San Francisco for money and support probably didn’t sit well with Georgians, either.

The Democrats and their lapdogs the legacy media have been calling this a “referendum” on Trump. So be it.

So congrats not only to Ms. Handel, but to the folks in Georgia who did us all proud.

NY Times Live Election Results

As of 10:20p ET or so when NYT projected Handel the winner.

Here’s the NYT map with the change of direction compared to the 4/18 GA primary vote. Enjoy!

And Georgia wasn’t tonight’s only win. The Republican also took South Carolina’s open seat.

Waiting for Legacy Media to now claim this is *not* a referendum on Trump in 3..2..1

Right, Shifra…it went from “everyone in America hates Trump” to “the election of Handel means nothing.” Lying their Ossoff.

This means we’re never going to hear about it again, except maybe for a brief headline proclaiming Georgia to be racist. On the other hand, had the Dem won, we’d have never heard the end of it.
