Not a surprise, and while a sign of President Trump’s loyalty, it also speaks to the political nature of the Obama regime’s prosecution of Sheriff Joe for doing his job. I mentioned on Fox the other day that I exected the president to do the right thing regarding this issue. And he did.

President Trump granted a presidential pardon to Joe Arpaio, the former Sheriff of Maricopa County, Ariz., on Friday. Arpaio, 85, had been convicted for intentionally disobeying a judge’s order in an immigration case.

“Sheriff Joe Arpaio is now eighty-five years old, and after more than fifty years of admirable service to our Nation, he is worthy candidate for a Presidential pardon,” the White House said in a statement.

Good timing, what with Harvey pulling the media focus away from the usual fare of 24/7 TDS. Never let a good crisis go to waste, eh?

    Good to see!

Good. It was a political prosecution like Sen. Ted Stevens and Rep. Tom DeLay. Similar to the State complaints against Palin and Scott Walker. Even the current prosecution against Dem. Bob Menendez was only brought because he did/said something against Obama. Believe that Menendez did commit crime but nothing was happening until he went against Obama. ‘Ethics’ Panels are political cudgels now. Look at the fed. Office of Gov’t Ethics slamming Trump. Best to just get rid of them. They’re nothing but cover for politicians who won’t hold each other accountable. Swamp stinks together.

FWIW, here’s the official list of Pardons granted by Obama.
