Michelle Obama made the “best dressed list.” Melania, however, did not.
Maybe because Vanity Fair was shocked that Melania…wait for it… wore the same outfit twice!
Oh the horror.

Vanity Fair’s 2017 International Best-Dressed List honors celebrities and politicians who stand out as fashion icons of the year, but one usually well-dressed figure is notably absent.
Melania Trump, a former model and current first lady of the U.S., did not make the cut, but former President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama made the list for the third time.
“Heads of state are particularly well represented this year,” a press release for the list said, “with former president and First Lady Barack and Michelle Obama (Couples) honored for the third time.”
Other political leaders include Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who was honored for the second consecutive year, and French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte….
I bet Melania is really upset! NOT Who buys/reads VF? Only those living on the upper east side and hollywood.
She’s a category all her own. Like Hurricane Irma, she’s off the charts. They can’t accommodate her rank. She doesn’t need Vanity Fair!!!
I agree! Really, these magazines now, like Vogue as well, are the Mean Girls who realize they’re not all that special after all.
The Hill article on this mentions that Trump has a long-running feud with Vanity Fair editor Graydon Carter. CNN 2016 writeup informs that feud started in the 1980s when G. Carter edited Spy magazine.

Graydon Carter has now announced that he is stepping down as Vanity Fair editor after 25 years in December. He wants to leave the magazine while it ‘is on top’. Article mentions his feud with Trump and that Carter’s kitchen has a Resist poster and a Dump Trump illustration by his 8 yr old daughter.
