Soldiers who died searching for Bowe Bergdahl

This decision is obscene!

“He suffered enough” ? As much as the soldier who is now paralyzed after searching for him?

Via NY Post.

Confessed deserter and US Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl got a huge break on Friday when a federal judge spared him jail time and instead gave him a dishonorable discharge and a fine of $1,000 a month for the next 10 months.

The disgraced soldier, whose disappearance resulted in serious injuries to other military personnel who were searching for him, was also stripped of his rank by the judge, Army Col. Jeffery Nance.

Bergdahl, who was held prisoner and tortured by the Taliban for five years after he walked away from his Afghanistan outpost in 2009, pleaded guilty last month to charges of desertion and misbehavior before the enemy.

He was released by the Obama administration in May 2014 in a controversial exchange for five Guantanamo Bay detainees….

Bergdahl and that judge should share a cell for a very long time.

If Bergdahl thinks he’s done with the whole incident because the trial is over, he’s in for a surprise. He will NEVER be done with it, it’s NEVER going to go away. He will always be that traitor. Ask Jane Fonda.

No punishment for treason? I’ve noticed that politicians, educators and media talking heads are working hard to avoid the words “Treason & “Traitor.” Maybe it’s because there as so many of them in our institutions.
