Maybe this is not just a case of a poor marketing idea, given the recent tension between Poland and Israel over Poland’s new “Holocaust Law,” forbidding any reference to Auschwitz and the other death camps in Poland as “Polish.” And Poland’s PM has come out with the preposterous claim that Jews were also perpetrators of the Holocaust.

The socks have been renamed “Patrick” after a complaint from the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum. But I am thinking of getting a few pair, to send to Joy Behar, Ana Navarro and other idiots Libs who call POTUS and his supporters “Nazis.”

Via NY Post.

A Polish company is under fire for trying to sell socks that look like Adolf Hitler.

The questionable accessories, by socks brand Nanushki, were designed “to bring order in the socks drawer,” according to the company’s website. The Nazi leader is rendered in full, footed glory, down to his toothbrush mustache….

Since the backlash, the Polish company has renamed the “Adolf” socks “Patrick” — just an ordinary financier, who happens to bear a strong resemblance to the dictator.

Dearest Shifra, I always appreciate your information. This was one of those times that I find most upsetting. Beyond words upsetting. Even though your updates are at times distressing, I still appreciate you keeping us updated.

Spit & Polish is meant for shoes. How can a sock company get that wrong?

Did they use the Horst Wessel Lied in the commercial? 🙁
