John Kerry says he is “not seriously thinking” of running in 2020. Don’t believe him. Why else did he just throw Obama under the bus, with his admission that Obama made a serious error in not enforcing his “red line’ warning to Syria ? Kerry claims he attempted but could not convince “risk-adverse” Obama — in other words, Obama was inept and feckless – to strike Syria for failing to heed his warning regarding the use of chemical weapons. Sounds as though he is trying to distance himself from Obama’s pathetic inaction.

Donald Trump has mocked the idea of John Kerry challenging him for the White House in 2020….

“I see that John Kerry, the father of the now terminated Iran deal, is thinking of running for President,” Mr Trump wrote on Twitter. “I should only be so lucky – although the field that is currently assembling looks really good – FOR ME!”

When asked if he was going to run for president in 2020 in an interview with CBS, Mr Kerry said he was “really not thinking about it”….

“I think that’s the most important work we can do right now is trying to elect people on a national basis and … and restore the leadership that the country needs,” he said.

“Restore the leadership that the country needs” ? Is Kerry referring to this “gem” of his, from 2016, warning us that air conditioners are just as dangerous to us as ISIS?

Kerry: Air conditioners as big a threat as ISIS

Would be Swiftly Trump Boated. Dems will need someone who can energize a campaign crowd. That’s not old previous nominee Lurching to and fro. Money Men liking him won’t do it.

But if he were to get nomination, he could pick Hillary as VP.
