  The argument is the judge doesn’t want to be on the same boat with other people involved with the trials. Last time I checked one could secure a separate area while making sure they can’t be approached or hear other conversations. Or perhaps during the boat there’s a rule prohibiting all talking in general. Instead, the trials come to a halt.
