Fox Hollow Animal Hospital shared video of Dr. Ross Henderson playing guitar and serenading a dog named Ruby with Elvis Presley’s “Can’t Help Falling in Love” to calm her nerves before she underwent surgery…. Kenneth Varnes, a construction engineering soldier assigned to Fort Hood, noticed a funeral procession approaching him as he drove along Highway 195 in Kileen, Texas. This story is definitely “for the birds” 🙂 Via UPI. An injured mockingbird in California was fitted with a pair of special corrective “snowshoes” after being rescued by a local wildlife center. California Wildlife Center rescued the mockingbird, which was forced to stand on its toes as its feet were knuckling, causing it to be unable to open its feet to stand or perch…. The bird was at risk of additional injury after being forced to stand on its toes, but has made a full recovery since being fitted with the snowshoes. ****************************************************
