**Bumped Up From TAM Wire. Posted by Alain** The Magic School Bus Rides Again series at Netflix has ‘climate change’ episodes that inform kids if they don’t use clean energy, a monster will eat them. Educational for sure. Bet if Conservatives did a show that informed children that Obamacare was designed to kill their parents by making health care too expensive, Hollywood would go up in arms. Via NewsBusters. The Magic School Bus is back in the new Netflix series The Magic School Bus Rides Again! Overall, it’s still a nice, fun 13-episode series like we remember from when we were kids, but with some left turns. Michelle and Barack were spotted lunching in NYC yesterday, and most likely, their menu did not include any of the horrors that ex-FLOTUS foisted on kids. Via Washington Examiner. Faced with students who won’t buy lunches low in salt and sugar and jacked up with bland-tasting grains, the nation’s 54,000 school cafeteria workers are urging Washington to junk health-focused rules pushed by former first lady Michelle Obama. Feeling that they have an ally on their side in the Trump administration, their lobby group, the School Nutrition Association, plans to press for less-strict restrictions on ingredients that taste good. The reason is simple: Studies show that public school students aren’t eating what cafeterias are serving, turning many operations into money-losers. While...

Good. The rush to political correctness, whatever the issue, without parental involvement, has got to be stopped. In the case of schools it involves allowing anyone who “identifies” in a certain way to have access to locker rooms, bathrooms and other sex-segregated facilities. Parents must remain involved in every action by a school. We are now at a point where presuming adults involved in the system will be doing the right thing is a mistake. Via Daily Signal. After facing significant resistance from parents, a school board in Northern Virginia has decided to temporarily suspend the implementation of new regulations for accommodating transgender and gender nonconforming students. “Fairfax County Public Schools will keep handling transgender student matters with privacy and...
