Brian Williams, Hillary Clinton and Mythomania
by Patricia on February 5, 2015It seems Brian Williams and Hillary Clinton have something in common – mythomania. NBC News anchor Williams has admitted he was not aboard a helicopter hit by fire in Iraq in 2003. A story he repeated as recently as Friday night. Hillary Clinton made a similar claim in 2008 – coming under sniper fire in Bosnia as they landed – also untrue. What is wrong with these people? Brian Williams admits that his story of coming under fire while in Iraq was false NBC News anchor Brian Williams conceded on Wednesday that a story he had told about being under fire while covering the invasion of Iraq in 2003 was false. Williams said he was not aboard a helicopter that was...

Dems, The Midterm Election, And The Five Stages Of Loss And Grief
by Shifra on November 7, 2014In her 1969 book, “On Death and Dying,” Dr. Elisabeth Kübler-Ross describes the five stages of grief and mourning: Denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance. For ‘We The People’ It’s *Morning* in America, For NYT It’s *Mourning*
by Shifra on November 5, 2014Once upon a time, the New York Times was known as the “Paper of Record.” Now, it’s known as the newspaper best used as birdcage lining. Or for wrapping fish. Today’s NYT Editorial: Negativity Wins the Senate Republicans would like the country to believe that they took control of the Senate on Tuesday by advocating a strong, appealing agenda of job creation, tax reform and spending cuts. But, in reality, they did nothing of the sort. Even the voters who supported Republican candidates would have a hard time explaining what their choices are going to do. That’s because virtually every Republican candidate campaigned on only one thing: what they called the failure of President Obama. In speech after speech, ad...

Good News: Scarborough Says Obama’s “No Strategy” Is A Strong Strategy
by Shifra on September 2, 2014What a relief! For the past six days, we all thought that the faux-POTUS made a fool of himself and of the U.S., with his pronouncement that he does not have a strategy to deal with ISIS. But thank God we have faux-Conservative, faux-thinker Joe Scarborough to set us straight: Via Mark Finkelstein – Newsbusters: Scarborough Defends ‘No Strategy’ Obama: ‘Straight Out of The Art of War’ Alexander the Great. Stonewall Jackson. George S. Patton. To this list of some of history’s greatest military strategists, a new name must be added: that of Barack Obama. That is, if you agree with Joe Scarborough’s take on President Obama’s statement at yesterday’s press conference that “we don’t have a strategy yet” regarding...

Sharyl Attkisson Slams CBS News, Obama Admin’s ‘Chilling Effect’ on Reporting
by Tammy on April 13, 2014This morning Sharyl Attkisson appeared on Howard Kurtz’s Fox News show “Media Buzz” discussing her experience at CBS News, how she found the network “too compliant” with the Obama administration. Below is the first segment. You can catch the second at Mediaite. Sharyl Attkisson, an investigative reporter who recently resigned from her post at CBS News, took shots at both her former employer and the Obama administration on Media Buzz Sunday morning, accusing CBS News of being too compliant with the White House, and the White House of overtly trying to stifle reporting. “I didn’t run into that same kind of sentiment [at CBS] as I did in the Obama administration when I covered the Bush administration very aggressively,” Attkisson...

Media Bias Alert==> WaPo Reports On WH Pastry Chef Departure, Omits Half The Story
by Shifra on March 19, 2014Searching for articles on the White House pastry chef’s departure, I noticed that several newspapers had picked up the story. In a nutshell, WH pastry chef Bill Yosses, who was hired by Laura Bush in 2007, has decided to leave. The Daily Caller reports that his decision is “bittersweet,” and cites Michelle Obama as having “ordered Yosses to make healthier plates in smaller portions.” Similarly, The Chicago Sun-Times reports that Yosses says that Michelle Obama is to blame. Since she came to the White House, she’s ordered Yosses to cut down the portions in addition to making them healthier. First it was replacing the butter. Then the sugar. “I don’t want to demonize cream, butter, sugar and eggs,” Yosses said....

NY Times: CBO Job Loss Prediction Is “Mostly A Good Thing, Liberating!”
by Shifra on February 5, 2014Good news, everybody! According to today’s NY Times editorial, yesterday’s CBO prediction of 2.5 million lost jobs, due to Obamacare, is actually “mostly a good thing.” And, liberating! Who knew? Via Washington Examiner: New York Times editorial: CBO job loss predictions ‘mostly a good thing’ After the Congressional Budget Office estimated that Obamacare will cause the loss of 2.5 million jobs in the next 10 years, the New York Times editorial on Wednesday called the news “mostly a good thing.” Here is their b.s. Obama water-carrying absurd spin take on the CBO report: Via The New York Times: Freeing Workers From the Insurance Trap The Congressional Budget Office reported on Tuesday that the Affordable Care Act will reduce the number...

Susan Rice and the ’60 Minutes Scene’
by RS-Tweets on December 23, 2013**Promoted from TAM Wire. Posted by CZ Four Five Five** Video: 60 Minutes: Susan Rice On Contending with Crisis Working Title: 60 Minutes, Rehabilitation INT: 2 person interview. 2 camera shot. Camera lighting is warm, earth tones and amber light. It could be day or night, the brown curtains are drawn. The exterior is not seen. Inside the room are 2 chairs that face each other, and we find an interviewer, Lesley Stahl from 60 Minutes, asking Questions of President Obama’s NSA Adviser Susan Rice. It’s been a long day; the two main characters are tired after watching Susan’s young daughter play soccer earlier that day. Where, conveniently, it is alleged that Susan received a phone call from Secretary of...

Pope Francis Is Time’s Person of the Year
by Tammy on December 11, 2013As most of you know, I believe in the Jesus but have a problem with organized religion. But this Pope Francis guy has made me take a serious look how the power and influence of the Catholic Church can do very good things. In other words, so far, I love this guy! Yes, he’s not an economist and he’s said a funny thing or two about capitalism, but I’ll leave the spiritual world to him and let’s leave the economic world to American conservatives 🙂 None of us like the mainstream media like Time, but this story and having Pope Francis on the cover will get more people to talk about a decent man who leads a religion that doesn’t...

Obama, Cruz On Short List For ‘Person of the Year’
by Tammy on December 9, 2013The yearly Time Magazine “Person of the Year” issue is coming up and they’ve released their Top 10 shortlist. This list, of course, is ostensibly who ‘influenced the news’ the most in the last year which always depends on who the media chooses to cover. Sometimes it’s impossible to miss with someone like edward Snowden, but would they choose a nemesis of their Dear Leader Obama? Who do YOU think is the Person of the Year? It can be someone on this list, or not. Let us know in Comments! Here are the final ten contenders for TIME’s Person of the Year (listed alphabetically): Bashar Assad, President of Syria Jeff Bezos, Amazon Founder Ted Cruz, Texas Senator Miley Cyrus, Singer...

When NPR Is Asking These Questions of ObamaCare, You Know You’ve Got Trouble
by Tammy on October 21, 2013I was rather surprised to see this lineup of questions proposed by NPR for HHS head failure Kathleen Sebelius. At the same time, she is now a very convenient scapegoat for the failure of ObamaCare. After all, the more attention of Sebelius gets (and she is a large part of the problem but like all Obama’s minions, just a gog in his machine), the less is on Obama. I’m all for that at this point. Remember, we want them to be destroyed by their arrogance and hubris. If they throw Sebelius under the bus, Obama will proceed full steam ahead. Despite just hitting an iceberg. 5 Questions Kathleen Sebelius Must Answer The hottest hot seat in Washington is the one...

“Sum Ting Wong”: Media+Gov’t=A Confederacy of Dunces
by Maynard on July 15, 2013You've heard the strange tale of the San Francisco TV news report that misidentified the four Asiana Airline pilots. If someone told this joke on the street, it would be grotesque. A crashed plane with dead people is no laughing matter. But -- please forgive me, but in this context it becomes hilarious, in a terrifying sort of way. That's because the "joke" is no longer about the crash. The story here is about two major pillars of our civil society, media and government. And the fact that they are filled with morons.

Outrageous: The Obama/Holder DOJ Seizes Phone Records of AP Reporters
by Tammy on May 13, 2013Whenever I call Obama and his regime ‘fascist’ I usually hear from people on both sides of the aisle saying I’ve gone too far. Let me just say, I have a tiny feeling those complaints will be stopping. In another remarkable revelation, we have now learned that Obama’s DOJ has seized the records from phone lines, (work, home and cell!), of AP reporters, with potentially hundreds of reporters affected. I’ll let the story speak for itself, but let me say, the word “impeachment” becomes more necessary every day. AP: Gov’t obtains wide AP phone records in probe …In all, the government seized the records for more than 20 separate telephone lines assigned to AP and its journalists in April and...

Koch Bros Consider Purchase of Tribune Co., Includes L.A. Times & Chicago Tribune
by Tammy on April 22, 2013This could be good. I mentioned quite some time ago that conservatives should unite and buy the newspapers and magazines used by the left to push their craven agenda. Hopefully, this is part of that very necessary move if we’re going to save this nation. Via Breitbart. As you read this New York Times story about the Koch Brothers apparent interest in making a serious bid for the Tribune Company (publishers of eight local newspapers including the Los Angeles Times and Chicago Tribune,) ask yourself how outlets like Politico would deal with such a thing. Ever since the Supreme Court returned free speech rights to everyone with Citizens United vs. FEC, the leftist media — led mostly by Politico —...
