Israel Defense & Ukraine Plane Crash Updates/Open Thread
by Tammy on July 17, 2014Talk about an intense day, and it’s not even close to being over. First, the horrible news about the Malaysian airliner being shot down over Ukraine. Much of the initial information is speculation, but one thing that has been confirmed is that it was shot down with a missile. Now the work begins to pinpoint the location of battery and perhaps that will give us information as to who did this. And, of course, the embarrassment here is that Obama, once again, exhibited how much of a fool he really is. We have 295 lost souls, and 23 dead Americans in this horrific act. He stepped awat from a photo op at a burger joint, then spent 38 seconds addressing...

Happy 4th of July, America!

Investigators Conclude Missing Jet Hijacked, Steered Off Course
by Tammy on March 14, 2014Not surprised. A hijacking with people held hostage, while a horrible option, is preferable to the plane crashing in the ocean. Until they find the plane, of course, we won’t know for sure, but pray for everyone on board. Except any scum hijackers, of course. Via Fox News. Investigators trying to solve the disappearance of a Malaysia Airlines jetliner have concluded that one of the pilots or someone else with flying experience hijacked the missing Boeing 777 and steered it off course, according to a Malaysian government official. The official, who is involved in the investigation, told The Associated Press that no motive has been established, and it is not yet clear where the plane was taken. The official spoke...

A Special Thank You To All Subscribers, aka Tammy Army Members
by Tammy on February 28, 2014As we end another week (and head into a new month) I was just reflecting on how lucky I am that I get to look forward to my work on Tammy Radio, the blog and all of my additional writing. All of this is due to the generosity of you TAMs–Tammy Army Members–. Thank you for being so wonderful supporting this work with your subscriptions. The fact that you carve out a little bit each month to help keep our Independent Conservative message going strong means more to me than I can say. I also so enjoy watching the TAM Community expand. As I mention often on Tammy Radio, it’s this sort of Fellowship that will help us through whatever...

2014: Happy New Year! Open Thread
by Tammy on December 31, 20132013 was better than we thought it would be. 2014 can be the year when we clean up some of the mess of the last 5 years and send a message to those who think they’re home-free after trashing this country. Every new day, every new year, provides opportunities to honor the future by making amends and fixing mistakes. I’m looking forward to 2014 because I know Americans will take care of business. It’s been an honor and a pleasure being with all of you through thick and thin, and it’s going to be an even bigger thrill to experience the success of 2014 with you. Happy New Year everyone, and thanks for making everything possible!

Who’s Your ‘Conservative of the Year’?
by Tammy on December 31, 2013As 2013 comes to a close, it’s a good time for Independent Conservatives to reflect on all that has happened and what it means for the Indie Con agenda, including decreasing government intrusion into our lives and an increase of personal freedom. I’m curious to see who you think has done the most for our cause this year and who you think are the stars of the future. My picks? While I’m concerned about his ability to influence and work with the existing infrastructure, I think Ted Cruz has been a person who has remained consistent with his conservative principles. My main concern is that he not slip into a focus about what he wants versus what’s best for the...

Merry Christmas Everyone!
by Tammy on December 25, 2013I hope you have a beautiful day. I know things have been difficult for us these past several years, but there is so much to be grateful for, not the least of which is being Americans and living in the greatest country on Earth. Now our work continues to make sure America gets back on her feet to help make the world a better, more safe place for everyone. The future is the blessing of a new opportunity to accomplish all that is good 🙂 And yes, please consider this an Open Thread through the weekend!

Tonight at 9pm ET The Jerk will deign to speak to the Great Unwashed (us) about whatever it is that Russian President Putin has decided for us. It’s Thursday! Open Thread
by Tammy on April 25, 2013Yes, it’s the day before Friday which deserves special recognition 🙂 Also, as I’ve noted on Tammy Radio, I’ll be speaking at Smith College this evening and am hitting the road from New York to Massachusetts so there will be no Tammy Radio today. The live show will be an encore presentation. I’ll be back Friday, however when all Tammy Radio will return to normal. Well, as normal as Tammy Radio can be 😉 Today’s Open Thread picture comes courtesy of TAM Jeffrey Pomeroy who somehow put me magically on a billboard and sent it around the Twitter. I do have a feeling New York would never allow a chick with a gun on a billboard, but we can dream...
