Finally. Boehner Resigning From Congress~~ Open Thread
by Tammy on September 25, 2015Will not miss him. Boehner is stepping down from his leadership post and resigning his seat on October 30th. This caught everyone by surprise, but for those of us who are conservative and want our leaders to be, well, leaders and not bureaucratoc managers, this is excellent news. Boehner’s departure creates an opening for actual leadership, but will the GOP machine listen to the demands of the base for an actual conservative vision to be pursued? So, the question becomes, who will replace him? Here is the latest. This is obviously excellent news as we prepare for Obama to go into overdrive implementing his destructive agenda. Real leadership is required to stop him, and now perhaps we may just get...

Maynard’s Funny Story of the Day
by Maynard on October 7, 2014Last July, some pundit put it this way: "The only way Putin is in any danger from Obama, is if Putin is blocking the door to a fundraiser Obama’s late to get to." With the nation and the world melting down, it does seem that fundraising has edged out golf as Washington's top priority.

by Shifra on February 6, 2014For those of you who missed Obama’s latest State of the Union speech: You missed nothing. (Unless you are “into” mindless platitudes, meaningless phrases, and lies) But I think you’ll agree: This would have been a SOTU worth viewing. (HT Piratin)

by Tammy on December 13, 2013Taxes are for the little people. by the way, she was “surprised” by the charges. I’m sure all Democrats are surprised by crime being take seriously considering what Obama gets away with. And kudos to this local station. Wow. Clinton: Mandela Helped Me Forgive GOP For Impeachment
by Tammy on December 6, 2013Every day we see examples of Obama’s Malignant Narcissism, including with his response to Mandela’s death. But everything is also about Bill Clinton. For him, Mandela’s purpose was served in helping… Bill Clinton. Outrageous: Dems Leave Benghazi Hearing Before Testimony From Victims’ Families
by Tammy on September 19, 2013They don’t even try to hide their thoughtlessness and moral depravity anymore. Via Townhall. During the second portion of a House Oversight and Government Reform hearing about Benghazi Thursday on Capitol Hill, the majority of Democrats on the Committee left the room and refused to listen to the testimony of Patricia Smith and Charles Woods. Ms. Smith is the mother of Sean Smith, an information management officer killed in the 9/11 Benghazi attack. Charles Woods is the father of Navy SEAL Tyrone Woods, who was also killed. The far side of the room, shown empty in the photo, belongs to the Democrats. The only Democrats who stayed were Ranking Member Elijah Cummings and Rep. Jackie Speier. Background: Republican lawmakers renew...

Whole Foods – Healthy Speaking
by Pat_S on July 6, 2013Whole Foods established a policy of English only for its employees while they are on the clock. The exception would be if a customer spoke a different language. Employees can speak any other language during their breaks or if everyone present is agreeable. Two employees in New Mexico objected to the policy. They were suspended with pay for one day for rude behavior in an office. (Not sure what that means unless they had a belligerent attitude while complaining.) They claim they were punished for speaking Spanish. Hispanic groups threatened to boycott Whole Foods. Whole Foods restated their policy to clarify that it applied during working hours which did not include break time or lunch time or before and after...

Shifra Weighs In on Chris Christie’s Presidential Aspirations
by Shifra on June 4, 2013I don’t usually pay much attention to NJ politics, as I am usually entertained enough by the characters and clowns here in NY. However, something about this article caught my eye: via abcNews: Christie Pounds the Airwaves Against Opponent, Despite Huge Lead in Gubernatorial Campaign New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is leading his gubernatorial opponent, state Sen. Barbara Buono,by more than 30 points, but that hasn’t stopped him from bombarding the airwaves with ads, including negative ones attacking Buono, and spending almost $4.5 million…. Christie is running five ads, including two negative ones, which try to paint Buono as in lockstep with former Democratic Gov. Jon Corzine, and accuse her of raising taxes and fees. Corzine lost to Christie...

Hypocrites==> Congress May Exempt Itself From ObamaCare
by Tammy on April 25, 2013If you listen to Tammy Radio you’re not completely surprised by this. I’ve been saying ever since it passed that this is *exactly* what they would do. After all, this is a group that also just ripped the guts out of the Insider Trading legislation that was supposed to stop them from engaging in what is a criminal practice for every other American. If you’ve had any doubt that our government now was simply one big corrupt gang, take a gander at this, as they worry about the financial hit they would all take if they were subject to ObamaCare. Of course, they don’t give a damn about the financial hit we’re taking: Lawmakers, aides may get Obamacare exemption Congressional...
