Comic Kicked Off Columbia U. Stage After Students Felt Their ‘Safe Space’ Was ‘Violated’
by Shifra on December 6, 2018We are raising a generation of miserable, humorless toddlers. Next year, maybe for entertainment at their event, they could have Barney & Friends perform. Via Daily Caller. Former Saturday Night Live writer Nimesh Patel was booted from a Columbia University stage on Friday night after attendees were offended by some of the jokes in his set. Patel, a former Emmy-nominated writer whose career accomplishments include becoming SNL’s first Indian-American writer and an appearance on “Late Night with Seth Meyers,” was performing at cultureSHOCK: Reclaim, a Columbia Asian American Alliance event, according to the Columbia Spectator. The Spectator reported: During the event, Patel’s performance featured commentary on his experience living in a diverse area of New York City—including a joke about...

Party City’s “The Wall” Halloween Costume Upsets Twitter Libs
by Tammy on October 16, 2017Hysterical! And after all, it is for Halloween, so doesn’t that imply that it’s a scary thing? It does, however, look like the guy wearing The Wall looks pretty happy. But maybe he just enjoys being scared, or something. I hope Party City doesn’t cave. With promotion like this, it’s bound to become a best seller! Via Fox News. Halloween is on the horizon, which means that the early contenders for offensive costumes are hitting the stores. Party City has become the latest retailer to come under fire after releasing its “Adult Wall Costume.” The company does not outright mention President Donald Trump’s immigration policy in the costume description, but the getup has led many social media users to comment...

by Shifra on July 10, 2017Will reading books and writing term papers be required? Or will the students just have to attend riots and flag-burnings? Via Campus Reform. Ohio Wesleyan University will begin offering a degree in Social Justice starting this fall. “Truly understanding issues of social justice and taking effective action requires knowledge and skills in areas such as economics, politics, philosophy, education, religion, sociology, and more,” the university asserts on its website. “OWU’s social justice major will help you develop the knowledge and skills needed to analyze social injustices and theorize and work toward positive social change.” Students who pursue the new major are expected to “develop the knowledge and skills to think critically on the meaning of social justice locally and globally,...

U. of Wisconsin-Madison Students: Burnt Toast is… Racist!
by Shifra on May 9, 2017So, is a burnt bagel and a schmear…anti-Semitic? Via Breitbart. ….According to documents obtained by the online campus watchdog site, the College Fix, an Asian female enrolled at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, submitted a bias incident report claimed that she experienced racial discrimination when a male employee served her a piece of burnt toast. “It’s nothing serious, but I feel I need to get this out of my mind,” the student’s report reads. “Around 2pm afternoon last Friday, I went to Gordon Market to grab some late lunch, and got french toast from one of the male kitchen staffs there. I don’t know why but he gave me a clearly quite burnt toast among all other breads that were...

Harvard Ends Late Fees for Overdue Library Books Because It’s Too Stressful
by Shifra on May 5, 2017Why would anyone want to hire a college graduate who was unable to cope with the stress of an overdue library book? Great job, Harvard, further coddling your precious snowflakes. Via Fox News. This week, Harvard University announced that its libraries will be doing away with their traditional 50 cent-per-day late fee on overdue books. Some might assume Harvard is terminating the fees because the school simply no longer needs the money. After all, the “private” university does receive billions in tax breaks every year. No, finances had nothing to do with this policy change, which was first noticed by the vigilant folks over at The Harvard Crimson. The sole reason that this (once?) prestigious university is waiving the charge...

ICYMI: Tammy on Tucker Carlson: Students Disrespecting Our Flag
by pamelarice on April 21, 2017**Bumped Up From TAM Wire. Posted By pamelarice** My 20 year old grandson, Gabriel, will be owning these snow flakes. He is finishing up his sophomore year at the University of Arizona (full time student) while working a full time job at JC Penny. He is paying for his own education and takes none of his education for granted. His employer is so impressed with him that he has been promoted twice and is now a manager over-seeing two departments. My 20 year old niece is finishing up her 2nd year at Grand Canyon College – hard work and intellect have given her an education via scholarships. It is young conservatives like these two that I am proud of and...

Harvard Library’s ‘Fake News’ List Includes Conservative Websites
by Shifra on March 15, 2017It’s time for Harvard to change their motto, Veritas, which is Latin for truth. It now looks like a Fake Motto. Via NY Post. So it’s come to this: The Harvard University library is labeling right-leaning media as “fake news” right along with actual crackpot sites. So much for academic excellence. The library’s Web site features a “Fake News, Misinformation, and Propaganda” guide that flags outlets like the Washington Examiner, The Weekly Standard and the Daily Caller, as well as a few liberal opinion outlets. Most are tagged with labels such as “clickbait,” “bias,” “political” and “unreliable.”….

Walmart Workers Refuse to Make Cop’s Retirement Cake
by Tammy on September 25, 2016Another shameful display of arrogance and ignorance. Via FoxNews/Todd Starnes Three Walmart workers in McDonough, Ga., refused to decorate a “thin blue line” cake for a police officer’s retirement party because they said it was racist. A number of my Georgia readers alerted me to the story and on Saturday night I spoke directly with the police officer’s daughter. She asked that I not divulge her name and I’ve agreed to do that. “I was so shocked,” she told me. “I didn’t know what to do or say or anything. I was trying not to lose my temper or make a scene.” For the record, Walmart has confessed that most of her allegations are true… ***************************************************

Case Western Western U. Offered ‘Safe Space’ During RNC… No One Showed Up
by Shifra on July 22, 2016But there were coloring books. And crayons. And candy. No, really: coloring. books. crayons. candy Tuition at the university is over $45,000 a year; they could at least provided some Godiva chocolates, instead of what looks like… lollipops? Via Daily Caller. What’s it like to hole up in a special “safe space” during the RNC? Very, very sad, it turns out, unless you really like coloring books. Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) grabbed headlines, and no small degree of ridicule, when it was revealed the school was maintaining a special “safe space” during the RNC in order to assist those psychologically or physically traumatized by the prospect of Republicans being in Cleveland and giving speeches. Not willing to let the...

Case Western U. Students Protest School’s Decision to House Cops During RNC
by Shifra on July 18, 2016The special snowflakes were afraid for their safety…with over 1700 police officers on campus. Via Cleveland.com. Case Western Reserve University, under fire by students and faculty for housing police on campus during the Republican National Convention, has decided to hold no classes, summer camps or other activities on campus from July 18-21. The action…was taken to ease ongoing concerns over housing 1,700 police officers and 200 members of the Ohio National Guard during the four-day event, especially following last week’s deaths of two black men by police in Louisiana and Minnesota and the killing of five Dallas police officers…. Students wanted the university to require the officers to store their weapons off campus, for the officers to stay out of...

UK Special Snowflakes Traumatized by Brexit
by Shifra on July 3, 2016Can we tell these spoiled brats to “man up”? Or would that be a micro-aggression? Via Breitbart. Students have claimed they are experiencing physical trauma after UK voted to leave the European Union (EU), which could affect their ability to sit exams in the coming weeks. “Can I class Brexit as a traumatic event when I fail my exams next week? Because honestly, I’m so distracted now because of it?” posted one young scholar on a thread in theThe Student Room, called: “Does anyone else feel genuinely depressed about Brexit.” “Took about an hour for my hands to stop shaking, and for my knees to return to some semblance of working order after I saw the result this morning. How...

KTLA Meterologist Told On-Air To Cover Up Bare Shoulders Because… E-Mails
by Tammy on May 15, 2016Sigh. KTLA is a great local station in Los Angeles, but boy, did they screw up with this. I find it very odd that any significant section of the audience would be offended by a cute black beaded dress. As you’ll see, one of the anchors actually interrupts her weather report, hands her a sweater and when asked why says “Getting a lot of emails.” Really? What gives? I’m guessing a majority of the audience was perfectly fine with it, and management over-reacted to a few snowflakes who have access to email. Final judgment: ridiculous. Am I wrong? I have a feeling you’ll have a few things to say in comments! Via Yahoo News. The video from @KTLA. They handed...
