Talk about an intense day, and it’s not even close to being over. First, the horrible news about the Malaysian airliner being shot down over Ukraine. Much of the initial information is speculation, but one thing that has been confirmed is that it was shot down with a missile. Now the work begins to pinpoint the location of battery and perhaps that will give us information as to who did this. And, of course, the embarrassment here is that Obama, once again, exhibited how much of a fool he really is. We have 295 lost souls, and 23 dead Americans in this horrific act. He stepped awat from a photo op at a burger joint, then spent 38 seconds addressing...

**Bumped up from two years ago. Yom HaShoah — Holocaust Remembrance Day — falls on the 27th of the Hebrew month of Nisan – Sunday, April 27, this year** Holocaust Remembrance Day In the early 1940’s, my father was a rabbi in the Bronx, NYC. His salary was twenty dollars a week. One day, he received a phone call. It was urgent, the man said. A matter of life and death. It was about the Jews in Europe. The following Saturday morning, the man spoke to the congregation. He had “inside” information. The Nazis were planning to exterminate the Jews. The “relocation camps” were really death camps. Gas chambers. Gold extracted from the teeth of the dead, their body fat...

Sad but yum. Via Los Angeles Times. If the thought of wasting food makes you cringe, you may want to look away. 76,000 pounds of beef ribs headed to Los Angeles went up in flames Saturday when the truck containing them caught fire. And according to firefighters at the scene, it smelled “wonderful.” The truck had been headed from Flagstaff, Ariz., to Wilmington. The fire started on the 40 Freeway in San Bernardino County after one of the back wheels of the trailer caught fire, reported the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin. The freeway had to be shut down for two hours. The fire had a “wonderful BBQ beef rib odor to it,” read a report. There were no injures, but...

The Granite Mountain Interagency Hotshot Crew. The elite team of 19 firemen were killed yesterday in one of deadliest US firefighting disasters in decades as flames raced through dry brush and grass in central Arizona, destroying scores of homes and forcing the evacuation of two towns. Photograph: City of Prescott/Reuters This fire itself is a horrible story and requires your prayers for the people forever changed by this monster. But yesterday, while fighting the fire, 19 of our firefighters were killed. Send them and their families your prayers and love. Pathetic. Via Breitbart. Top Republicans with classified information about the terrorist assault on the U.S. mission in Benghazi last September may not want to see a House Select Committee formed to investigate the attack that left four Americans dead, including U.S. ambassador Chris Stevens, although a number of Senate and House Republicans remain unsatisfied with information they have received from the Obama administration about the deadly attack. Congressman Frank Wolf (R-VA), a subcommittee chairman on the House Appropriations Committee, has re -filed a resolution to form such a select committee. Only Speaker John Boehner can allow the formation of a House Select Committee. Other Republicans were unsure of their support for a select committee. “You know, I don’t think so....

Excellent, but brief, conservation from from Bret’s Special Report. I found Krauthammer’s comments the most cogent, and he also also comments about what to say to your kids. while disagreeing the most with Kirsten Powers. Overall, a comprehensive discussion on the issue (focusing on the psychology of the issue) with good points. This whole conservation, however, about our “culture of violence” I find shallow. This is the world’s condemnation of us, and yet nothing is said, and even we pander to, and actual culture of violence in the Islamist world, where school girls are targeted on a daily basis. Yet, there is no general condemnation of that, not does the misogyny and child abuse of the Arab world ever make...

We’ve all been dealing with this since it happened. We pretty much devoted today’s Tammy Radio to updates, and while we don’t have any answers, we do have updates as the situation continues to unfold. More and more information will come out in the coming days, and one of the main things we can do is pray for those who perished, their families and all the survivors. Take care of yourselves and your families, and do your best to keep a balance in your life when it comes to the news. Here’s what we know so far in this developing situation. CIA operators were denied request for help during attack; Hillary Asked for more security in Benghazi, Obama refusedby Tammy on October 26, 2012
Horrible news confirming politics, i.e., Obama’s concern for his career, almost certainly played a role in the deaths of our four Americans. Jennifer Griffin does incredible reporting here, this is explosive. There were three separate requests for help that were denied. As requests for help were received everyone was told to stand down. There’s more, please watch the video and click through the links. Since the attack happened it’s been clear that girl needed to be out of that dump. Now she is, but London is also full of Islamist savages. In my humble opinion, the best place for her is here but this is a good first step. In the picture with the article you can see the kind of security she has. Glad England is taking this seriously. Our 4 murdered Americans in Benghazi. Stevens, Doherty, Woods, and Smith *A Post From Patricia* This administration is directly responsible for the death of four diplomats and border agent Brian Terry. Nixon was a crook but killed no one. I hope and pray the American People kick him out in November and, God Help Us, if not: impeach when we take the House and Senate. Via Fox News. U.S. diplomats in Libya repeatedly asked the Obama administration for more security in Benghazi in the run-up to the Sept. 11 attack on the consulate but were “denied these resources,” two congressional lawmakers said. We give them this man and spend billions to help their ‘Arab Spring.’ It’s time we stop the fantasy that Islamists are anything but our mortal enemies.

Horrible. The desperation everywhere is increasing. The shooter, now dead, had been laid-off from his job last year and returned today, killing a co-worker. NYC shooting: Gunman kills former co-worker; at least 9 hurt A man who had been fired from his job in a shop outside the Empire State Building returned to the scene Friday morning, shot dead a former co-worker and then opened fire on police officers in a chaotic, rush-hour gunfight. The gunman also was killed, and at least nine people were wounded in the exchange of gunfire, city officials said. Here’s a snippet, please do go take a look at the whole thing The Guardian is known as a liberal paper so I appreciate their willingness to bring, um, alternative points-of-view to their readers. Liberals aren’t too happy about that, of course, as you’ll see in their comments section. They always cry and spit when their preferred meme is confronted. As I note in the column, many of us have been forced into responding to the left’s craven attempts to score political points on the back of a horrific tragedy. They believe decent people simply will not respond. We will, and it’s our decency that compels that response. Only law-abiding armed citizens can prevent more Auroras The liberals trying to...

According to a news conference this morning, 10 of the dead are still in the theatre. But that doesn’t stop Obama’s White House, liberals, and ABC from trying to score political points. Remember the leftist mantra–never let a good crisis go to waste! Here’s background and the latest on this obscene event, and the now usual depraved response by liberals. Gunman attacks ‘Batman’ premiere in Colorado, 12 dead A gunman in a gas mask and bullet-proof vest killed 12 people at a midnight premiere of the new “Batman” movie in a suburb of Denver early on Friday, sparking pandemonium when he hurled a gas canister into the auditorium and opened fire on moviegoers. The attack injured 55 others including children...
