Looks like going rogue is becoming more popular than ever
His comments on today’s show infer a possible entrance into politics. He met with Roger Ailes of Fox in September. Anything is possible. I think this is good news and it’s about time Dobbs got the stink of CNN off him. I’m sure we’ll see him somewhere soon, continuing to make a difference.
Lou Dobbs to Quit CNN
Lou Dobbs, the longtime CNN anchor whose anti-immigration views have made him a TV lightning rod, said Wednesday that he is leaving the cable news channel effective immediately.
Sitting before an image of an American flag on his television set, he said “some leaders in media, politics and business have been urging me to go beyond the role here at CNN and to engage in constructive problem solving as well as to contribute positively to the great understanding of the issues of our day.”
“I’m considering a number of options and directions,” Mr. Dobbs added.
Good riddance. I think he let the door hit him on the way out. Note Time of Death–9:11
Mastermind of Washington area sniper attacks executed
John Allen Muhammad was executed on Tuesday for masterminding and carrying out with his teenage accomplice the 2002 sniper shootings that killed 10 people and terrified the Washington, D.C. region a year after the September 11 and the deadly anthrax attacks.
The 48-year-old Muhammad was put to death by lethal injection at the Greensville Correctional Center in Jarratt, Virginia, said Virginia Department of Corrections spokesman Larry Traylor.
“Death was pronounced at 9:11 pm. There were no complications. Mr. Muhammad was asked if he wished to make a last statement. He did not acknowledge us or make any statement whatsoever,” Traylor told reporters.
News from her Facebook page, and I am rather thrilled to see myself on her list of interviews
I am very, very excited about the upcoming road trip for my book. It will be an honor to meet as many of you as possible!
“Going Rogue” publisher HarperCollins is working hard to schedule book signings across the nation, and we’ll be announcing the locations in the next day or two. I’ve decided to travel to cities outside of the typical book tour venues, and I hope to cover as much of the country as I can.
We’re in the process of arranging interviews with local and national media. An interview with Oprah Winfrey is already scheduled, and I’m also hoping to have the opportunity to talk with Bill O’Reilly, Barbara Walters, Sean Hannity, Greta Van Susteren, Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Mark Levin, Laura Ingraham, Dennis Miller, Tammy Bruce, and others, including local Alaska personalities Bob & Mark and Eddie Burke. (Variety is the spice of life!)
Can’t wait to hit the road. Can’t wait to see you!

Runaway Balloon or Jiffypop? You decide.
What we said on Tammy Radio when no kid was found in balloon. No Xbox for him for at least 10,000 years.
Fort Collins boy who went up in balloon craft found at his home
“He’s been located! He’s alive! He’s at the house!”
Larimer County Sheriff Jim Alderden interrupted a media update in Fort Collins to announce that the 6-year-old boy thought to be missing in a balloon craft has been found alive at his home.
“Apparently, he’s been there the whole time,” Alderden said. “Hiding in a box a cardboard box, in an attic above the garage.”
Checking the entire house next time might be a good idea, no?
Woo hoo! “Stand Up For Our Nation.” Sounds good to me.
Palin Plans New Political Group
Sarah Palin fans can expect to see a new Palin political organization surface as her memoir, “Going Rogue: An American Life,” hits the shelves next month.
“There will be an announcement about it coming up,” Palin associate Tim Crawford said Wednesday.
The New York Post reported this week that Palin’s new group will be called “Stand Up For Our Nation.” (News Corp. owns both the Post and The Wall Street Journal as well as HarperCollins Publishers, publisher of Palin’s book.) Crawford, who is treasurer of Palin’s existing political-action committee, SarahPAC, refused to provide any details about the new organization’s purpose or structure.
That is all. Talk amongst yourselves. I will be distributing noise makers and party favors soon. Woo hoo!

UPDATE: Here’s the link to Amazon.
That’s right.
Palin finishes memoir, ‘Going Rogue,’ out Nov. 17

Sarah Palin, the former Alaska governor and vice presidential candidate, has finished her memoir just four months after the book deal was announced, and the release date has been moved up from the spring to Nov. 17, her publisher said.
“Governor Palin has been unbelievably conscientious and hands-on at every stage, investing herself deeply and passionately in this project,” said Jonathan Burnham, publisher of Harper. “It’s her words, her life, and it’s all there in full and fascinating detail.”
Palin’s book, her first, will be 400 pages, said Burnham, who called the fall “the best possible time for a major book of this kind.”
The book now has a title, one fitting for a public figure known for the unexpected — “Going Rogue: An American Life.”
Harper, an imprint of HarperCollins, has commissioned a huge first printing of 1.5 million copies. Sen. Ted Kennedy’s “True Compass,” published by Twelve soon after his Aug. 25 death, also had a 1.5 million first printing.
UPDATE: Palin has posted an excerpt of her remarks over at her Facebook page.
UPDATE 2: Conservatives4Palin have an excellent roundup of media reaction to the governor’s speech.
All in all, sounds like the speech most of us hoped she would give. She slams Obama and praises Reagan and Thatcher. An excellent debut. The NYT quotes an attendee as having the impression Palin was positioning herself as more of a “libertarian or a small-c conservative.”

And what was Obama doing while Sarah Palin was talking about the importance of our personal and economic freedom? He was being praised by despotic genocidal beasts Castro and Ghaddafi.
Palin Addresses Asian Investors
Former Governor Touches on Budget Deficit, Health Care and China
HONG KONG — Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, in what was billed as her first public-speaking engagement outside North America, blamed the world financial crisis on government excesses and called for a new round of deregulation and tax cuts for U.S. businesses.
“We got into this mess because of government interference in the first place,” the former Republican U.S. vice presidential candidate said Wednesday at a conference sponsored by investment firm CLSA Asia-Pacific Markets. “We’re not interested in government fixes, we’re interested in freedom,” she added…
She described her political philosophy as a “common-sense conservatism,” and said the free-market policies of Ronald Reagan and Margaret Thatcher should be guides for how to get out of the current economic situation. “Liberalism holds that there is no human problem that government can’t fix if only the right people are put in charge,” she said.
Mrs. Palin didn’t refer to President Barack Obama by name, but said his promise for change during the election hasn’t taken hold. She called his campaign promises “nebulous, utopian sounding…Now 10 months later, though, a lot of Americans are asking: more government? Is that the change we want?”…
Sarah Palin arrives in Hong Kong
In other areas, she criticized Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi for speaking skeptically about the need for more troops in Afghanistan. “Afghanistan is where the 9/11 attacks were planned and if we are not successful there, al Qaeda will find a safe haven there again,” she said.
I’d say she’s sounding, how should I say it, presidential?
Two pieces of good news. First, I’m usually not a big fan of graffiti but this is the sort of ‘Urban Art’ I certainly do appreciate. It’s so…real and artsy-ish. Courtesy of The Eastsider L.A.

I also hear it was seen in West Hollywood, CA. You know, where all the liberal gays live. How weird. Visit Hot Air for that iPhone pic. It is rather special.
And now for an update on our beloved O’Joker pics. The O’Joker poster was a march fave amongst the 9/12 Patriots. Well, sadly the original Los Angeles freeway O’Joker posters were torn down. I know, I know. But amazingly they have been replaced, and by even more! Yes, good news does multiply, even if it’s on the same freeway on ramp.

Onward Artistes! Even in Los Angeles anonymous Art Creative Left Coasty-types seem to still have had enough.
TAMs, there is a special post in the Members page with information on how you can meetup with other Tammy Army members for the march tomorrow in DC.
Everyone also please feel free to use this post as a sort of bulletin board if you would like to connect in DC for the march with other Independent Conservative Tammy readers and listeners.
Remember you can access the Freedom Watch agenda for the march at www.912dc.or/agenda.
