10-year-old gives birth in Idaho; Suspected illegal immigrant charged with rape

A 37-year-old man is charged with raping a 10-year-old girl who gave birth last month in Idaho.

"St. Anthony Police said they were notified of the young girl's pregnancy by medical personnel after she went in for treatment at a doctor's office," KIFI-TV reports on its website.

One day later, the ABC affiliate says the young mother delivered a 6-pound girl at Madison Memorial Hospital in Rexburg, Idaho.

KIDK-TV says Guadalupe Gutierrez-Juarez, a suspected illegal immigrant, is being held at the Fremont County Jail. He's due in court next week to face rape charges.

Oh, I also want to know what sort of parents force a 10- year-old (that's a fourth-grader folks, 9 when raped) to carry this pregnancy to term. They, too, should be arrested for child neglict and endangerment.

Feds Want Kinder, Gentler Language About Islamist Terrorists

They're not Genocidal, Islamist Fascists, they're, uh, Angry Puppies! Yeah, that's so much less offensive.

This has go to be one of the most ridiculous constructions ever developed by the those brainwashed by political correctness. The Feds have decided that calling Islamist Fascists Islamist Fascists is too broad based, and could potentially offend "moderate" Muslims. It's this sort of news that makes this post even more apropos.

'Jihadist' booted from government lexicon

The Bush administration has launched a new front in the war on terrorism, this time targeting language.

Federal agencies, including the State Department, the Department of Homeland Security and the National Counter Terrorism Center, are telling their people not to describe Islamic extremists as "jihadists" or "mujahedeen," according to documents obtained by The Associated Press. Lingo like "Islamo-fascism" is out, too.

The reason: Such words may actually boost support for radicals among Arab and Muslim audiences by giving them a veneer of religious credibility or by causing offense to moderates.

For example, while Americans may understand "jihad" to mean "holy war," it is in fact a broader Islamic concept of the struggle to do good, says the guidance prepared for diplomats and other officials tasked with explaining the war on terror to the public. Similarly, "mujahedeen," which means those engaged in jihad, must be seen in its broader context.

U.S. officials may be "unintentionally portraying terrorists, who lack moral and religious legitimacy, as brave fighters, legitimate soldiers or spokesmen for ordinary Muslims," says a Homeland Security report. It's entitled "Terminology to Define the Terrorists: Recommendations from American Muslims."

Gee, and I wonder who those "American Muslims" are who seem more concerned with the truth than they do with the raping of Islam by other Muslims. It's not Vikings, or Quakers, or Scientologists out there marauding in the name of Islam. It's actual Muslims who follow the fundamental Whabbist interpretation of Islam. It is a legitimate, if not the richest, most powerful arm in Islam, based in Saudi Arabia. it is also the sect which has build and funs the majority of mosques in the United States. To ignore that fact means we will never address the core of the problem.

What are some of the suggested elements of the vague, non-offensive way to refer to our throat-cutting, head-slicing, child-murdering Islamist enemy?

"Never use the terms 'jihadist' or 'mujahedeen' in conversation to describe the terrorists. ... Calling our enemies 'jihadis' and their movement a global 'jihad' unintentionally legitimizes their actions." [...]

On the other hand, avoid ill-defined and offensive terminology: "We are communicating with, not confronting, our audiences. Don't insult or confuse them with pejorative terms such as 'Islamo-fascism,' which are considered offensive by many Muslims." [...]

"We must carefully avoid giving bin Laden and other al-Qaida leaders the legitimacy they crave, but do not possess, by characterizing them as religious figures, or in terms that may make them seem to be noble in the eyes of some," it said.

Just one note here--anyone who could remotely see the shooting of a child in the back and the murder of thousands of innocent civilians as 'noble' is already a lost, disturbed soul and a mentally ill person and is not affected by whatever words we might use. To think otherwise is the epitome of Narcissism, Groupthink and just plain old idiocy.

This is not some renegade band of Muslims. It is a movement of fundementalist Islamists who, along with Iran, Syria, Lybia, and Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, have a worldwide network with a goal of establishment a global caliphate. For our own government to deny this is deadly madness as they implement nothing less than a whitewashing of language in order to further ignore who our savage, genocidal enemy really is.

Bottom line, here's a newsflash for the DoD, The State Dept, Homeland Security and the White House: If a Muslim is moderate, they wouldn't be concerned with us using accurate terms to describe the enemy, and understand it's not what we say that's a danger, it's what Islamist are doing which is the threat. That is, if they were actually moderates 'advising' our government. Moderate would be more concerned with madmen using the name of their prophet to murder innocents; moderates are fervent supporters of the United States and appalled at the increasing violence done in the name of Islam; if they're moderate, they would be marching for and demanding an end to the obscene violence done by Islamists and encouraged by the Whabbist sect of Islam based in Saudi Arabia. Moderates understand it's not the lexicon the United States uses in fighting this rabid enemy that's the problem, it's a worldwide Islamic movement that is destroying whatever vestiges of actually "moderate" Islam that existed.

At this point, we all have to wonder what in the world the collective Fed is smoking. But after almost seven years, I suppose it is sort of fun for them to eliminate Islamic Fascism and jihadists with the stroke of a pen. Perhaps then they think we won't notice that bin Laden, Zawahiri, and so many other Islamic Fascist jihadists are out there planning to murder as many people as possible.

The Continuing Corruption of Islamism

Terrorism is just one symptom of the increasing depravity of Islamism worldwide. If the murder of innocent people in the name of God is possible and argued for using the foundation of a certain religion, we shouldn't be too surprised to learn that the rot moves to the core. During Ramadan I brought you the truth of the matter when it comes to the abuse of children during Islam's holiest time. Last week we endured the story of Muslim beasts in Yemen and the 8-year-old "bride" travesty. Her parents facilitated the abuse of the girl, and the 28-year-old to whom she was given thought it was all fine and dandy too. But it doesn't stop there. Here is another story of the use and abuse of children in the name of Islam. If Muslims had any real concern about Islam and the image in the co-called Prophet Muhammad, they might be taken a little more seriously if they dealt with the psychopaths who murder in the name of Muhammad and in instances around the world, enslave children.

Boy flees Islamic school that makes beggars of African kids

DAKAR, Senegal - On the day he decided to run away, 9-year-old Coli awoke on a filthy mat...It was still dark as he set out for the mouth of a freeway with the other boys, a tribe of 7-, 8- and 9-year-old beggars...

There are 1.2 million Colis in the world today, children trafficked to work for the benefit of others. Those who lure them into servitude make $15 billion annually, according to the International Labor Organization.

It's big business in Senegal. In the capital of Dakar alone, at least 7,600 child beggars work the streets, according to a study released in February by the ILO, the United Nations Children's Fund and the World Bank. The children collect an average of 300 African francs a day, just 72 cents, reaping their keepers $2 million a year.

Most of the boys — 90 percent, the study found — are sent out to beg under the cover of Islam, placing the problem at the complicated intersection of greed and tradition. For among the cruelest facts of Coli's life is that he was not stolen from his family. He was brought to Dakar with their blessing to learn Islam's holy book.

In the name of religion, Coli spent two hours a day memorizing verses from the Quran and over nine hours begging to pad the pockets of the man he called his teacher...Not all Quranic boarding schools force their students to beg. But for the most part, what was once an esteemed form of education has degenerated into child trafficking. Nowadays, Quranic instructors net as many children as they can to increase their daily take.

Read the whole story and learn a little bit more of the beasts who dare to condemn others, and the world, including our president and the Pope actually argue that this sort of society should be treated as civilized and like all others. Shameful.

Former Pentagon official pleads guilty in China spy case

A former Pentagon official pleaded guilty in court Monday to an espionage charge over the disclosure of secret data to an alleged Chinese agent in the US. Gregg Bergersen said he was unaware that the Taiwan-born businessman was passing the information to China. Mr. Bergersen, a weapons systems policy analyst who resigned his job last week, could face up to 10 years in prison.

The leaked data concerned US weapons programs for Taiwan, which China has threatened to regain by force, if necessary. Taiwan is a potential flash point for US-China rivalry in East Asia, and US military support for Taiwan is an irritant to Beijing. In turn, Taiwan has flagged China's steady buildup of missiles capable of hitting Taiwan. US military officials have warned that China and Russia have stepped up military spying activities in recent years, focusing on advanced weapon technology...

In two separate developments this week, a judge in California agreed to postpone until next May the trial of a Chinese-American engineer charged with stealing military and aerospace trade secrets on behalf of China, the Associated Press reports, and a federal court sentenced a Chinese-born engineer working on a Navy warship to 24 years in jail for trying to pass "sensitive data" to China, Bloomberg reports.

Despite all this, including the poisoned and tainted food and medicine with which China has been flooding our nation, as well as dangerous and defective toys for children and weakened steel for our buildings, President Bush still plans on traveling to China to enjoy the Olympic games while boosting the image of that pit as a civilized nation.

No wonder they have contempt for us as they try to issue Death by a Thousand Cuts.

Chinese-Made Heparin Contaminent Identified

Maybe everything from China is cheaper because they use deadly counterfeit ingredients. As some are now suggesting on the internet, let's have the Chinese make our nuclear weapons, too, if it's such a great bargain and China is such a great friend.

FDA identifies contaminant in blood thinner
The substance wouldn't have occurred naturally in the heparin from China, the agency says, suggesting a counterfeit drug could be involved. The import may have led to the deaths of up to 19 in the U.S.

The Food and Drug Administration said today it has identified a mystery ingredient that contaminated a type of blood thinner imported from China that could have led to as many as 19 U.S. deaths and hundreds of severe allergic reactions among frail patients.

FDA Deputy Commissioner Janet Woodcock said the contaminant would not have occurred naturally in the many steps involved in processing the blood thinner heparin. That raised the possibility that a counterfeit drug could ultimately be blamed in the case.

"At this moment, we don't know whether it was introduced intentionally or by accident," she said. Officials stopped short of saying they suspected the heparin to be counterfeit, but they clearly indicated they were investigating that possibility.

Gee, like when the Chinese laced toothpaste and cough syrup with antifreeze? And the time they sent melamine for use as a pet food ingredient? Like those other possibilities of counterfeit ingredients?

Obama Compares Wright to Martin Luther King

I kid you not. There is no other way to interpret Obama's choice of analogy here, effectively comparing the exposure of Wright as an America-hating racist and the appropriate excoriation of the man, to the assassination of Dr. King. The following Swamp headline does get it wrong--the comparison is not of OIbama to RFK, it's Wright to MLK, make no mistake.

Obama invokes RFK in distancing self from pastor

PLAINFIELD, Ind. – Sen. Barack Obama invoked Robert F. Kennedy on Saturday as he continued to try to distance himself from controversial statements made by his former pastor that are now widely circulating on the Internet.

"Bobby Kennedy gave one of his most famous speeches on a dark night in Indianapolis, right after Dr. King was shot," Obama said. "He stood on top of a car."

In reality, Kennedy, speaking in nearby Indianapolis on the night of April 4, 1968, spoke from the bed of a flatbed truck.

"He delivered the news that Dr. King had been shot and killed," Obama continued. "At the moment of anguish, he said we've got a choice. We've got a choice in taking the rage and bitterness and disappointment and letting it fester and dividing us further so that we no longer see each other as Americans, but we see each other as separate and apart and at odds with each other...

Saying "the forces of division have started to raise their ugly heads again," Obama began to point to his own former pastor from Trinity United Church of Christ on Chicago's South Side.

"I have a dream"="God damn America." Great job Barack Hussein Obama. Great job and simply stunning. Let's hope this is the beginning of the real Obama being exposed, and his undoing.

Well, it seems Americans are indeed recognizing this for what it is, and rejecting Obama. His national lead among Democrats was 8 points yesterday. It has now plunged by an unprecedented 7 points overnight. Keep in mind, this drop is among his own supporters after a couple of days of Wright's venom being exposed, and Obama's credibility gap on what he knew and when he knew it. This highlights that despite our differences here in America, those differences are slight. Despite all our desire for change, Obama supporters also reject racist Hate America First rhetoric spewing from Barack Obama's 'spiritual adviser' and mentor. Good for them.

**Television programming note**: Gateway Pundit is noting that Major Garrett will have Barack Obama tonight on Hannity & Colmes/Fox News to discuss the Wright situation. Perhaps now we know the real reason the Obama campaign has been desperate to paint Hillary and her supporters as 'racist'--to distract from their own ugly, racist underbelly.

After working feverishly to ignore the extraordinary racist, hate-filled comments by Barack Hussein Obama's "pastor", Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr., they finally have been forced to admit he exist. Initially, Obama refused to outright condemn comments that ranged from urging black Americans to sing "God damn America," to proposing the theory that America engineered the AIDS virus to genocide people of color and deliberately distributes drugs to me of color, and that America is a terrorist nation. When you hear these remarkably paranoid assertions Michelle Obama's paranoid and America-hating rants make a lot more sense. After all, this is the man who has been Obama's mentor for 20 years, married the Obamas, and baptized their daughters (which means those two bright little girls are exposed to this racist, hate-based insanity.

Ron Kessler, who is associated with the McCain campaign, provided an opinion piece in today's WSJ, the first national newspaper to address this remarkable relationship between the leading Democrat candidate and a hate-monger:

Obama and the Minister

In a sermon delivered at Howard University, Barack Obama's longtime minister, friend and adviser blamed America for starting the AIDS virus, training professional killers, importing drugs and creating a racist society that would never elect a black candidate president.

The Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr., pastor of Mr. Obama's Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, gave the sermon at the school's Andrew Rankin Memorial Chapel in Washington on Jan. 15, 2006...Mr. Wright thundered on: "America is still the No. 1 killer in the world. . . . We are deeply involved in the importing of drugs, the exporting of guns, and the training of professional killers . . . We bombed Cambodia, Iraq and Nicaragua, killing women and children while trying to get public opinion turned against Castro and Ghadhafi . . . We put [Nelson] Mandela in prison and supported apartheid the whole 27 years he was there. We believe in white supremacy and black inferiority and believe it more than we believe in God." [...]

As for Mr. Wright's repeated comments blaming America for the 9/11 attacks because of what Mr. Wright calls its racist and violent policies, Mr. Obama has said it sounds as if the minister was trying to be "provocative."

Hearing Mr. Wright's venomous and paranoid denunciations of this country, the vast majority of Americans would walk out. Instead, Mr. Obama and his wife Michelle have presumably sat through numerous similar sermons by Mr. Wright.

Indeed, Mr. Obama has described Mr. Wright as his "sounding board" during the two decades he has known him. Mr. Obama has said he found religion through the minister in the 1980s. He joined the church in 1991 and walked down the aisle in a formal commitment of faith.

The title of Mr. Obama's bestseller "The Audacity of Hope" comes from one of Wright's sermons. Mr. Wright is one of the first people Mr. Obama thanked after his election to the Senate in 2004. Mr. Obama consulted Mr. Wright before deciding to run for president. He prayed privately with Mr. Wright before announcing his candidacy last year.

Mr. Obama obviously would not choose to belong to Mr. Wright's church and seek his advice unless he agreed with at least some of his views. In light of Mr. Wright's perspective, Michelle Obama's comment that she feels proud of America for the first time in her adult life makes perfect sense.

The WSJ piece follows ABC News and their coverage of Wright stating we were to blame for 9/11 and that blacks should condemn the United States. Finally, of Obama and his racist mentor. Finally, Obama responds with a little fluff piece, on the lefty hate blog Huffington Post of all places, which once again waxes on about how great the 'pastor' is but Obama rejects his comments. He skips over the intense relationship they have, including the fact that it was Wright with whom Obama consulted when he was deciding whether or not to run for president, and then "prayed" with him as he decided to do so. Obama also thanked Wright prominently when he first won his senate seat. Yet Obama claims, absurdly, that Wright was never a mentor, and that he never, ever heard this man say anything at all ever close to what has been revealed in the past few weeks.
Yeah, sure.

This last week has been rather priceless--here we have Obama and his minions still pushing the absurdity of the entire Hillary campaign as racist, including the smear against Geraldine Ferraro. Ferraro leaves the Clinton campaign, and HiIllary apologizes to every black person on Earth for everything that ever happened. Yet the stench of racism and hate emanates from only one place--the Barack Obama campaign, his closest friend and adviser, and arguably from Obama himself and his wife. Yet no one has apologized. In fact, big news has been made of the fact thatWright stepped down from one Obama campaign position he held yet the Obama campaign insists he will stay on as a "spirtual adviser." I guess that would be the Racist, Hate America First fort of spirituality.

The next question needs to be, does Hillary and Co. have what it takes to demand an apology from Obama and his minions for the racism and hate they've been spewing? Will she demand Obama apologize for Wright, and that Wright be banished from his campaign entirely? If she doesn't have the cajones to face down a bunch of political thugs and a depraved, paranoid, how can we expect her to deal with the world's tyrants?

This is a test for Hillary. I noted weeks ago, that with all we detest about th Clintons, it's safe to say they do not hate this country. Now we know the Obamas truly do.

Every political organization has people and factions you don't like. Compromised alliances are sometimes needed to get things done. America joined forces with Stalin's Russia during WWII, even though Stalin was one of the meanest monsters ever to have walked the Earth.

When is distasteful compromise necessary and appropriate? When has a group gone "too far" and compromised "too much"?

I would argue that the wooing of Al Sharpton is a symptom of what's gone horribly wrong in the Democrat Party. Sharpton is more than controversial. He is an evil man whose words have arguably sown seeds of mayhem and murder:

[Sharpton] came to national attention in 1987, accusing a Dutchess County assistant district attorney of being one of a gang of whites who purportedly raped black fifteen-year-old Tawana Brawley and left her smeared with excrement and swastikas. Her claims were found to be a hoax, and after the victim of his defamation won a lawsuit, a court ordered Sharpton and two co-defendants to pay $345,000. [...which he never paid; years later (in 2001), Sharpton's $65,000 portion of the judgment was paid by a group of fans including O.J. Simpson's lawyer, Johnny Cochran.]

In 1991, Sharpton spoke at the funeral of a black child in Brooklyn. The Hasidic Jews involved in the traffic accident that took the child's life, Sharpton preached, were "diamond merchants." Sharpton then led 400 angry demonstrators through the Jewish neighborhood of Crown Heights, a marcher at his side carrying a sign reading: "The White Man is the Devil." A Kristallnacht of four nights of rock and bottle throwing at Jewish homes [the "Crown Heights Riots"] followed. A young Talmudic scholar, Yankel Rosenbaum, was surrounded by thugs yelling "Kill the Jew." He was stabbed to death, but before dying, identified the man who stabbed him. This young black, apprehended with the bloody knife in his pocket, was found not guilty by a racially mixed jury during the administration of Giuliani's predecessor, New York's first black mayor, David Dinkins. Dinkins' Police Commissioner, Lee Brown, declared that "Sharpton came close to the line of inciting [to riot] but did not actually cross it."

In 1995 in Harlem, when, during a tenant–landlord dispute, Freddy's Fashion Mart attempted to evict a black-owned record store, Sharpton organized protests against what he called a "conspiracy" by a "white interloper." It was, as one of Sharpton's lieutenants told protestors, a "Jewish department store." After one demonstration, a protestor ran into the store, gunned down several employees, and set it ablaze. Seven, including Hispanics and a black security guard, died.

Methods to identify a patient with a Do Not Resuscitate (DNR) order are incredibly varied across hospitals...There are currently no standards of color choice for hospitals using color-coded wristbands, and each hospital has a different set of colors for different indications. This lack of standardization creates the potential for errors. For example, some hospitals have used yellow to signify “Do Not Resuscitate,” leading to several near-misses with patients wearing yellow Lance Armstrong “Livestrong” bracelets. If a standard color choice existed for DNR orders, the potential for errors with either personal patient wristbands or those used by hospitals would be averted.

He's the Illegal Immigrant, and he's the 2007 Dallas Morning News Texan of the Year – for better or for worse. Given the public mood, there seems to be little middle ground in debate over illegal immigrants. Spectacular fights over their presence broke out across Texas this year, adding to the national pressure cooker as only Texas can.

To their champions, illegal immigrants are decent, hardworking people who, like generations of European immigrants before them, [Hahahahaha! Yeah, just like all the other immigration into this country] just want to do better for their families and who contribute to America's prosperity. They must endure hatred and abuse by those of us who want the benefits of cheap labor but not the presence of illegal immigrants.

Especially here in Texas, his strong back and willing heart help form the cornerstone of our daily lives, in ways that many of us do not, or will not, see. The illegal immigrant is the waiter serving margaritas at our restaurant table, the cook preparing our enchiladas. He works grueling hours at a meatpacking plant, carving up carcasses of cattle for our barbecue (he also picks the lettuce for our burgers). He builds our houses and cuts our grass. She cleans our homes and takes care of our children...

This essay cannot put a name or a face to an illegal immigrant, because that would subject him to possible deportation. Because he lives underground, the illegal immigrant becomes, in our rancorous debate, less a complex human being and more a blank screen upon which both sides can project their hopes and fears.

In the same article, one of the more interesting comments from Mike Huckabee, revealing just how clueless and idiotic that man really is:

"American Girl" Dolls Made In China

Oh for crying out loud.

American Girl Dolls Made In China

They're marketed as the all-American girls, each representing a different period in American history. But CBS 11 found the American Girl dolls that teach our heritage aren't really American.

Susan Mobley has purchased several American Girl dolls over the years for her daughter, Heather. But the Mobleys recently discovered these dolls are only American in name. If you look closely, you'll see a tag on the box that says "Made in China."

"To have an American Girl doll made in China sounds like a contradiction, does it not?" said Dr. Daniel Howard, professor of Marketing at the SMU Cox School of Business.

He says it's all about cost. It's more expensive to manufacture the dolls in the U.S., which means the price of the $87 dolls would be even higher.

"I believe that there are many American consumers who would pay it simply for the knowledge, simply for the comfort of knowing that this doll was made in the good ol' U.S. of A," Dr. Howard said...

If that's not enough, check out the patronizing response the reporter got after contacting American Girl about the absurdity of their product being made in China:

"Like the majority of the world's toys, American Girl products are manufactured in China, in addition to 18 other countries. All the design and conception work is done at the company's headquarters in Wisconsin."

Yeah, 18 countries other than the United States. So hey, what's the problem? All the Arty-type work is done in Wisconsin. It's just the boring blue-collar manufacturing jobs we ship out to a communist pit that's at war with us.

We shouldn't be surprised by this. "American Girl" is made by Mattel, which has had the largest recall of toys in the world, with 9.5 million units recalled because of dangerous or shoddy work done in China.

And never, never, forget that it was Mattel that apologized to China after the massive recalls.

Attack on Christmas Alert: Sears and K-Mart Rename Christmas Trees

In a bid not to "offend" customers who don't celebrate Christmas, K-Mart and Sears have decided to rename Christmas Trees as the infamous "Holiday Tree" or just "Tree." Personally, I would find it odd to decorate a ficus but apparently the folks at Sears and K-Mart aren't that deep. (HT Hot Air)

The Liberty Counsel has all the details, including the astounding response from a Sears Corp. spokesman about why they banished "Christmas" from the Christmas season.

K-Mart and Sears have intentionally renamed “Christmas trees” to “holiday trees” or simply “trees” in its advertising. K-Mart is owned by Sears Holding Corporation. A Liberty Counsel supporter asked K-Mart for an explanation of the company’s disregard for Christmas. Vincent V., a representative from Sears Holding Corporation, responded:

The reason for our use of holiday tree is due to the [sic] Sears Holding is a very diverse company, we do not want to offend any of our associates, but also our valued customers. We decided to call them holiday trees because even if Christians are the only religion that uses a Christmas tree we still do not want complaints from other customers of different religions complaining about our use of Christmas.

What? Christmas is a federal holiday. Green, pointed, prickly trees we decorate in December are called “Christmas trees” all around the world. In the process of trying to be “diverse” and to allegedly not offend their associates or customers, Sears and K-Mart have offended their largest customer base – Christians and others who celebrate Christmas...

Let Sears Holdings know what it's like to offend Christians, the majority in this nation, and the majority of their shoppers. The Sears Holding Corporation telephone number is 847-286-2500. They're closed during the weekend, of course, but I'm sure they'd love to hear from you on Monday. :)

And let your local K-Mart and Sears know that you will not be shopping there until the Sears Corp. reverses itself.

Save Congo, Sentenced to Die for Protecting Owner

Congo and friends.

Congo is an 85-pound German Shepherd who attacked an Honduran landscaper in Princeton. NJ after the illegal alien, fearing the dog, grabbed the wife and mother of the family to use her as a human shield. She understandably screamed, and Congo, appropriately, attacked. Congo has now been sentenced to death by a judge for the attack, and the illegal alien has received $250,000 in an insurance settlement. There is a growing "Save Congo" movement which focuses on pressuring New Jersey governor Corzine to pardon the dog. Here's the story.

Immigration debate ignited after gardener mauled by dog in N.J.

A dog scheduled to be put down after mauling a gardener from Honduras has ignited a debate over immigration and dog owners' rights in this university town.

The gardener, Giovanni Rivera, was attacked in June by a German shepherd named Congo and four other dogs at a Princeton home where he did landscaping. Charges were filed against the family who owned the dogs, and Rivera received an insurance settlement of $250,000...

James [the owner of Congo] contends the men showed up early when the dogs were eating, and disregarded his calls for them to stay in their vehicle. He said Congo attacked Rivera after the panicked gardener grabbed his wife from behind and pulled her down, causing her to scream.

Rivera's lawyer, Kevin S. Riechelson, said his client, who is still in New Jersey, did not want to speak about the incident because he was scared after the public outcry over the decision to put the dog down. But Riechelson and Kim Otis, the prosecutor who handled the case, described the attack as unprovoked, saying Rivera never pulled Elizabeth James down to the ground.

Notice the specificity of the never pulled her "down to the ground." The fact of the matter is, while they may not have ended up on the ground, Rivera has admitted to grabbing Mrs. James in an attempt to protect himself from the dog, who had not attacked him. Rivera was simply afraid of the dog so he decided to use Mrs. James as his personal Human Shield.

Citibank and The Selling Out of America to Brutes

The big news today was the bailout of Citigroup by Islamist 'kingdom' Abu Dhabi. While many of us are extremely disturbed by the continuing selling out of American infrastructure to the Islamist world, the Financial Times shed some light on what the 'investment' really means.

'Putting off day of reckoning'

Sixteen years ago, the largest bank in the US was on the ropes, its balance sheet crippled by bad debts, especially on commercial real estate and Latin American loans.

Citicorp, as it was then known, turned to a top client in the Middle East for help, securing a $600m investment from Prince Alwaleed bin Talal of Saudi Arabia for convertible shares paying a cumulative annual dividend of 11 per cent.

Now Citigroup, its balance sheet threatened by bad residential real estate loans and related securities, has once again turned to a top client in the Middle East.

his time it is receiving a $7.5bn cash infusion from the investment arm of the Abu Dhabi government for convertible stock yielding 11 per cent...Prince Alwaleed has earned a 10-fold return on his original investment even after Citi's nearly 50 per cent share price decline over the last year.

Now, Citigroup is without a long-term leader, following the departure this month of Chuck Prince as chief executive.

It faces serious risks that its mortgage-related losses could rise even further. More broadly, there is a commonly held belief that Citigroup, in its current form, is simply too big and complicated to be run successfully.

Most of us are already concerned with the apparent Islamist effort to takeover a great deal of American infrastructure. Most of us are already rightly concerned about allowing oppressive, tyrannical nations to have such control over us. Take a look, as an example, of what our own CIA says about the United Arab Emirates, of which Abu Dhabi, is the capitol:

Current situation: the United Arab Emirates is a destination country for men, women, and children trafficked from South and East Asia, Eastern Europe, Africa, and the Middle East for involuntary servitude and for sexual exploitation; an estimated 10,000 women from sub-Saharan Africa, Eastern Europe, South and East Asia, Iraq, Iran, and Morocco may be victims of sex trafficking in the UAE; women also migrate from Africa, and South and Southeast Asia to work as domestic servants, but may have their passports confiscated, be denied permission to leave the place of employment in the home, or face sexual or physical abuse by their employers; men from South Asia come to the UAE to work in the construction industry, but may be subjected to conditions of involuntary servitude as they are coerced to pay off recruitment and travel costs, sometimes having their wages denied for months at a time; victims of child camel jockey trafficking may still remain in the UAE, despite a July 2005 law banning the practice; while all identified victims were repatriated at the government's expense to their home countries, questions persist as to the effectiveness of the ban and the true number of victims

Tier rating: Tier 2 Watch List - UAE is placed on the Tier 2 Watch List for its failure to show increased efforts to combat trafficking in 2005, particularly in its efforts to address the large-scale trafficking of foreign girls and women for commercial sexual exploitation.

Illicit drugs:

The UAE is a drug transshipment point for traffickers given its proximity to Southwest Asian drug-producing countries; the UAE's position as a major financial center makes it vulnerable to money laundering; anti-money-laundering controls improving, but informal banking remains unregulated.

This is the scum we have allowed to essentially take a controlling interest, with massive profits, of Citigroup.

Bottom line: It's time to divest from Citigroup. Check your 401ks and any other portfolio that has a collection of stocks. If you do own stock, divest, and let Citigroup know why. If you have Citibank credit cards, cut them up. Pay your bills, but add nothing more to the massive profits that will flow into the Jew-hating, misogyny of the Islamist Middle East.

Not only is rejecting Citigroup the moral thing to do, the FT article clearly indicates getting out of Citigroup is very probably the smart money move as well. Consider:

The Dangerous Hypocrisy of Condi Rice

From the Wall Street Journal, a blunt assessment of the absurdity of the Annapolis Conference for Jew-Haters, Terrorists and Their Appeasers, with a special, and more than appropriate swipe at the rank hypocrisy of Condi Rice. Her actions, and this summit, only give aid and comfort to the beasts of the world.

Condi's Road to Damascus

Remember Nancy Pelosi's spring break in Damascus? Condoleezza Rice apparently does not. When the House Speaker paid Syrian strongman Bashar Assad a call back in April, President Bush denounced her for sending "mixed signals" that "lead the Assad government to believe they are part of the mainstream of the international community, when in fact they are a state sponsor of terror." Today, said sponsor of terror will take its place at the table Ms. Rice has set for the Middle Eastern conference at the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md.

Only at Foggy Bottom would Syria's last-minute decision to go to Annapolis be considered a diplomatic triumph. The meeting is supposed to inaugurate the resumption of high-level negotiations between Israelis and Palestinians, with a view toward finalizing a deal on Palestinian statehood before the administration leaves office. On a deeper plane of geopolitical subtlety, it is supposed to bring Israel and the Arab world together in tacit alliance against Iran...

Put simply, there is nothing the U.S. can offer Mr. Assad that would seriously tempt him to alter his behavior in ways that could meaningfully advance U.S. interests or the cause of Mideast peace. Yet the fact that Ms. Rice's Syria policy is now a facsimile of Speaker Pelosi's confirms Mr. Assad's long-held view that he has nothing serious to fear from this administration.

So look out for more aggressive Syrian misbehavior in Lebanon, including the continued arming of Hezbollah; the paralysis of its political process; the assassination of anti-Syrian parliamentarians and journalists; the insertion of Sunni terrorist cells in Palestinian refugee camps, and the outright seizure of Lebanon's eastern hinterlands. Look out, too, for continued cooperation with North Korea on WMD projects: Despite Israel's September attack on an apparent nuclear facility, the AP reports that North Korean technicians are back in Syria, teaching their Arab pupils how to load chemical warheads on ballistic missiles. And don't hold your breath expecting Syria's good behavior on its Iraqi frontier to last much longer.

In the meantime, our friends the Saudis want to make sure they don't have to touch any Jews at this thing.

The plates the NY DMV deems too offensive and derogatory.I have a feeling a certain 3,000 people who dies on 9-11 and almost 4,000 troops who have died since, might disagree.

Another example of how at least the New York bureaucratic elite are in the grip of the Stockholm Syndrome. I first articulated this when NY decided to alight the Empire State building in green to pay tribute to Ramadan. Now, the DMV says "GETOSAMA" the plates violate their regulation that prohibits "obscene, lewd, lascivious, derogatory to a particular ethnic or other group or patently offensive."

But New York's DMV red-lighted the anti-Usama bin Laden plates, banning them under an agency regulation that prohibits anything "obscene, lewd, lascivious, derogatory to a particular ethnic or other group or patently offensive."

Teachers and Staff Told Thanksgiving is for "Mourning"

Killing off a nation's heroes and stomping out tradition are essential strategies in the Left's efforts to destroy this nation. Make no mistake--attacking Thanksgiving and Christmas are part of that effort of destruction.

Now, Multiculturalists in the Seattle school district have sent out a missive explaining how Thanksgiving for "Native" Americans isn't necessarily a good thing because it represents "500 years of betrayal."

Yeah, I get it--I, too, mourn not returning to the mid-Western plains, sleeping on the ground, in the tee-pee, during November, as you plot about how to scalp your enemy. It's obvious how much much better that is than pesky Civilization. To say nothing of having absolutely no room in your wigwam for all those scalps.

School says Thanksgiving is for 'mourning'

Seattle school officials are telling teachers that Thanksgiving actually is a time of "mourning" since it represents "500 years of betrayal."

The message to all "staff" in the Seattle Public Schools comes from Caprice D. Hollins, the director of "Equity, Race & Learning Support," and other officials including Willard Bill Jr. of the "Office of Native American Education."

"With so many holidays approaching we want to again remind you that Thanksgiving can be a particularly difficult time for many of our Native students," the letter said.

The school letter refers educators to a website, Oyate, run by an outside organization that promotes Indian culture, and recommends teachers explore it.

"Here you will discover ways to help you and your students think critically, and find resources where you can learn about Thanksgiving from a Native American perspective," the letter said. "Eleven myths are identified about Thanksgiving, take a look at No. 11 and begin your own deconstruction."

"Fact: For many Indian people, 'Thanksgiving' is a time of mourning, of remembering how a gift of generosity was rewarded by theft of land and seed corn, extermination of many from disease and gun, and near total destruction of many more from forced assimilation. As currently celebrated in this country, 'Thanksgiving' is a bitter reminder of 500 years of betrayal returned for friendship," the website describes.
