Malignant Narcissism

These two events speak volumes. While the “Commander-in-Chief” has another night out, taking precious time he apparently doesn’t have to decide on what to do about Afghanistan (now that we know Obama to take weeks to study Afghanistan strategy), heroes are paying the ultimate price for his indifference.

Obamas’ night out: First WH anniversary

obamasstepout

… “Taste cannot be controlled by law,” Thomas Jefferson is said to have said — it says so at the Blue Duck Tavern’s Web-site.

The restaurant at 24th and M specializes in classic American fare, with a wood-burning oven. We have no idea what the first couple ordered, But the seared striped bass goes for $24, the braised wreckfish $26. He wore a dark suit. She wore a black dress.

How nice for them. This same weekend 10 U.S. soldiers will never have another dinner, wear a lovely black dress or snappy black suit, or enjoy an anniversary with the spouses. Ten American families will forver have an empty seat at their tables. They’re dead because the Taliban has grown aggressive and inspired by a confused and pathetic American president.

Ten US soldiers killed in Afghanistan

Ten American troops were killed at the weekend in two surprise attacks that caused alarm in Nato’s US-led coalition.

In one, hundreds of insurgents attacked a pair of isolated outposts in eastern Afghanistan, killing eight US soldiers and several Afghan policemen in the deadliest battle in 15 months. Scores more Afghan policemen were reportedly captured by the Taleban.

In the other an Afghan policeman opened fire on the American soldiers with whom he was working in central Wardak province, killing two and injuring three.

Here’s a Newsflash for Obama: the Taliban aren’t ‘taking weeks’ to decide on their strategy; they’re implementing one which involves murdering our troops. Perhaps it’s time to stop behaving as though you’ve been selected to spend four years at some luxury narcissistic resort and act like you’re the president during a time of war.

The Sonny King

Glenn Beck, talk radio and the loudmouthed people are such a pain in the neck to Sen. Graham. Probably the Constitution as well. He thinks the government is his business. He dismisses base politics as though it’s childish, lecturing that we have to get out of our comfort zones. He is more than willing to work with the President to make his job easier.

Lindsey Graham Hits Glenn Beck and Bill O’Reilly

Graham lauded Mr. Obama for energizing young people and also engaging Hispanic voters, which he said Republicans had turned off with rhetoric on immigration “coming out of certain quarters of our party.”

He said Mr. Obama had passed the “ready to be commander-in-chief test” during the debates and that the Democrat had been helped by the unpopularity of then-President Bush and his policies. “The Republican label was very much tainted,” Graham said.

He thinks America became such a great country because we hold hands.

During an interview with The Atlantic’s Jeffrey Goldberg at the First Draft of History, Graham, was asked for his opinion about Glenn Beck. Let’s not forget Graham said Ted Kennedy was one of the most principled men he ever knew.

“Only in America can you make that much money crying,” Graham said, as he suggested conservative talk radio, in particular, has detracted form constructive political debate in America. “What do I think of Rush Limbaugh? Well, I think he makes hundreds of millions of dollars being able to talk on the radio for three hours a day. It is what it is, but here’s what I worry about: how many people in my business are going to be controlled by what’s said on the radio or in a TV commercial? Base politics is what we’re talking about.”

So maybe “my business” is just a figure of speech. I still don’t like it. The arrogant condescension of these prima donnas who hold the American people in such contempt have a nasty surprise coming their way. We know why we became a great nation and it wasn’t because we allowed ourselves to be treated like children by government elites holding hands. It was the calloused hands of the American people going about their business that built America and made it great.

Whose back is up against the wall? I think Sen. Graham and the rest of the Washington elites are soon to be wrenched out of their comfort zone. It will give me great pleasure to watch them go over the mountain.

Urkel, Too Late, Calls For Help

by Tammy on September 14, 2009 · 5 comments

The last time Obama called Bill Clinton for a private meeting was after McCain chose Palin and the entire game had shifted. Obama secured the nomination in June. The story linked to above is from September 2008, 3 months later and less than 2 weeks after Palin joined the race. Urkel had no idea what to do then, and this is a sign that he is once flapping around cluelessly in deep, dangerous water. The bad news, of course, is this isn’t about the game of a campaign, it’s about the future of your family and this divine nation.

The other major problem is calling Bill Clinton now is like meeting up with the fire department after your house has burned down. Not much can be done when things are so far gone.

Two Presidents: One Private Lunch

President Barack Obama will join former President Bill Clinton for lunch in New York this afternoon. The President will deliver a major address on the economy, one year to the day after financial firm Lehman Brothers collapsed, which at the time threatened the stability of the entire U.S. financial system. Aides say they will dine alone after the President’s speech, though no word on where the private lunch will take place.

The two men saw each other last week at the memorial for late CBS anchorman Walter Cronkite. They also spoke briefly at the funeral for the late Senator Edward M. Kennedy in Boston last month, where Mr. Obama delivered the eulogy.

Gee, could it be Urkel noticed the 2+ million patriots at his door on Saturday? Was it Tea party signs like the one on the right that woke him up? teaparty912I’m also wondering if Obama will apologize and then be censured for interrupting the campaign last year and having his goons call Bill and Hillary racists? Is he having lunch with Bill, a man who left this nation with a surplus, because he finally realizes he’s a set a fire he can’t put out and admits he doesn’t want to preside over a pile of ashes?

Whatever his reasons, it should concern us greatly that this disconnected Malignant Narcissist must be panicking, which means…buy more gold, call every politician who works for you, and remind Obama as often as possible that we reject his naive, incompetent and destructive policies. Oh yeah, as 9/12 Patriots noted, mention that Stalin called–he wants his policies back!

Oh, and btw, my gun Snuffy has killed fewer people than Ted Kennedy’s car. RIP Teddy? I suppose that might be difficult now that he finally has to face that terribly inconvenient woman last seen alive in his passenger seat.

Urkel’s freakish terrorizing of New York with the “photo op” of Air Force One was just one and now many indications of his contempt for this nation. At first, of course, Urkel’s Mob refused to release the pics, but now, only after a FOIA request, the Pentagon has released more–146 to be exact–from the obscene buzzing of New York at a cost of $328,835 taxpayer dollars. Isn’t it great how Obama started his term by having us pay to implement bin Laden’s fantasies? Obviously this was just one sign of things to come.

Pentagon Releases New Images of Air Force One Flyover

Responding to a Freedom of Information Act request, the Pentagon has released 146 photographs from the ill-fated April Air Force One flyover over Manhattan that resulted in the resignation of White House Military Office director Louis Caldera in May. Air Force spokesman Andy Bourland tells ABC News that there have been several procedural changes to ensure nothing like this ever happens again, with more approval required for proposed flights, and more public affairs involvement to make sure the public and relevant officials have been informed.

Morons.

Just as a reminder, here’s the reaction of New Yorkers out at lunch on a sunny day, around the World Trade Center ground zero site, which was chosen as one of the low fly-over areas. And these are the same people who want to be in charge of our health care?

I think these numbers speak for themselves about what’s really on Urkel’s mind–himself. He can’t help himself; it’s all he knows and all he cares about. And on 11/5/12 let’s make sure he has plenty more free time to contemplate his navel.

Camera Hog In Chief

President Barack Obama appears to be breaking every record kept on U.S. presidential press coverage. Over the first six months of this year, he was cited in a staggering 1.1 million stories across mainstream, Internet and social media–an average of 6,100 references a day. That’s more than triple what Obama’s last two predecessors, George W. Bush and Bill Clinton, got in the mainstream press during their first six months.

President Obama did a walk-in during the White House press briefing this afternoon. Earlier today the Cambridge police asked for an apology from the President for his now infamous castigation of the officers arresting Prof. Gates as acting stupidly.

The President’s subsequent statement is in no way an apology. He regrets his words left an unfortunate mistaken impression. He says he should have calibrated his words differently. Then he scolds everyone else for over reacting. Was it not over reacting for the President to make a one-sided conclusion without having the facts?

He starts by admitting he contributed to ratcheting up the incident and ends by claiming the attention to the issue speaks to historical African-American sensitivity. He continues looking at this with bias. He sees only half of it. There was a response to the President’s insults because America is getting fed up with the race card.

Obama calls this a teachable moment; we should spend more time listening to each other. I thought that was supposed to be his forte. He disagrees with those who say he shouldn’t have stepped into it because he is the President. He thinks it is within his portfolio to step in because race is still a troubling aspect of our society. It is not within a President’s portfolio to pour gasoline on a fire. Obama will not step out of his community organizer, radical agitator role.

He couldn’t help but notice this issue took precious time away from discussing health care. No doubt that is the real incentive for his remarks today. I don’t think the issue will fade as quickly as Obama would like. He ends it humorously by sharing exasperation with Sgt. Crowley about the press trampling the lawn and invites Crowley and Gates over for a beer. Nice try for the common touch. The magic is starting to sputter. The halo is starting to fall.

*UPDATE The Fox Panel weighs in. Obama gets slammed by all.

Ladies and gentlemen, there has been a Divine intervention. I missed it myself. Probably others as well so thank heavens Mark Sanford has taken the trouble to explain it to us.

You see, his tragic “misfortune” is one of those mysterious ways in which God often works. The point of it all was to enlighten the Governor on how to better approach things like school spending. God controls how these things work out and now Mark is in on the plan. He was off just a tiny bit it seems because he needs to make only a few alterations in his approach to achieve a more productive legislative session.

Mark apologizes because humbling is part of the purification process. God has given us a better father, husband, friend and advocate. Maybe even more. Sanford says he feels as though he was at his own funeral. Which must mean he is now arisen. God has such an ironic sense of humor. ;)

Gov. Mark Sanford: I apologize for letting people down

It is true that I did wrong and failed at the largest of levels, but equally true is the fact that God can make good of our respective wrongs in life. In this vein, while none of us has the chance to attend our own funeral, in many ways I feel like I was at my own in the past weeks, and surprisingly I am thankful for the perspective it has afforded.

If you ever have the misfortune of being at this point, whether self-induced as in my case or not, it will give you an indeed amazing perspective on life and on what really matters…

I’ve been humbled and broken as never before in my life and as a consequence have given up areas of control in a way that I never have before, and it is my belief that this will make me a better father, husband, friend and advocate.

I’ve realized that as much as I have and will continue to advocate for things ranging from restructuring to responsible spending to school choice, my approach needs to be less about my will and more about looking for ways to more humbly present the greater principles and ideas at play. It needs to be less strident and more about finding ways to work with legislative leaders to advance the ideas so many of us believe in. It means less time fighting the tide, and a greater awareness of the fact that God controls it. In working with a few alterations to my approach, I think this could be a far more productive last session than the one that would have been had the tragedy that has unfolded not occurred, and in turn, people’s lives can be made better.

I’d try to stay out of thunderstorms if I were the Governor.

There’s a Native-American belief that photography can steal your soul. If that’s the case, there’s a photog in France who’d be better off rushing back and returning Michelle Obama’s. If you wonder what Michelle Antoinette is made of, separate from controlled press events featuring vegetable gardens and puppies, here’s all you need to know. During the Special Report with Bret Baier post-show discussion on sronline, Major Garrett reported that the White House has released a statement about the Little Rock shootings, but only to Arkansas news outlets—if they ask for one. According to Garrett, the White House didn’t think there was much interest in the story otherwise. That is probably true about most of the media, but not an excuse and the White House darn well knows it.

Here’s the statement reported by KATV

Washington, DC – The White House issued a statement Wednesday by President Barack Obama

“I am deeply saddened by this senseless act of violence against two brave young soldiers who were doing their part to strengthen our armed forces and keep our country safe. I would like to wish Quinton Ezeagwula a speedy recovery, and to offer my condolences and prayers to William Long’s family as they mourn the loss of their son.”

We know how quickly Obama rushed to make a statement about Dr. Tiller’s death. He also made a point to speak about the Binghamton shootings back in April. He was in Baden-Baden at the time. Michelle Obama is supposedly making military families one of her big First Lady causes.

This is an outrageous insult to our men and women in uniform not to mention a complete assault on our intelligence. The military and the American people are stepped on and insulted because The One wants to make a big splash in the Middle East.

Chronicling Barack Obama’s War on America

terrorforceone.jpg

Osama or Obama? You know you’re in trouble when you’re not quite sure.

The Friend of Urkel who fell on his sword and took responsibility for the Terror Force One buzzing of New York City has finally resigned. Louis Caldera, the director of the White House Military Office, wrote in his resignation letter:

“I have concluded that the controversy surrounding the Presidential Airlift Group’s aerial photo shoot over New York City has made it impossible for me to effectively lead the White House Military Office,” Caldera said in a letter to Obama.

Hmm, so it’s the reaction to the White House terrorizing NY that’s the bad thing, not the fact that it happened and people supposedly leading this country thought it was a good idea and worked really, really, hard to make sure it was kept secret. Maybe for one of the best “Punk’d” episodes ever?

This happens, of course, on the day a few things are revealed. The White House ‘internal investigation’ report was released as was the actual cost of the terror flight–a cool $358,835 which only came to light after John McCain insisted on details from the DoD.

I mention on my radio program one way for people to determine what Urkel’s intentions really are. Just consider each time you hear of more money being spent, budgets and crazy spending driving the US toward bankruptcy, another apology to the world being made, more terrorists being released, or nothing being done about terrorists getting nukes, ask yourself: would bin Laden smile or frown?

Virtually without exception, every single action Obama has taken since coming into office would make Osama bin Laden smile. That’s not a good sign.

President Ronald Reagan.jpg

And while we’re at it, Washington, Adams, and Jefferson. After all, they’re just a bunch of dead guys with old ideas who probably wouldn’t like very much what today’s current batch of Repub poseurs are up to. Oh, and let’s also turn the GOP into one massive Group Therapy session. Yeah. that’s the ticket!

Jeb Bush, GOP: Time to leave Reagan behind

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush said Saturday that it’s time for the Republican Party to give up its “nostalgia” for the heyday of the Reagan era and look forward, even if it means stealing the winning strategy deployed by Democrats in the 2008 election. “You can’t beat something with nothing, and the other side has something. I don’t like it, but they have it, and we have to be respectful and mindful of that,” Mr. Bush said.

“So our ideas need to be forward looking and relevant. I felt like there was a lot of nostalgia and the good old days in the [Republican] messaging. I mean, it’s great, but it doesn’t draw people toward your cause,” Mr. Bush said.

“From the conservative side, it’s time for us to listen first, to learn a little bit, to upgrade our message a little bit, to not be nostalgic about the past because, you know, things do ebb and flow.”

Yeah, they sure do–and with the last 8-years of Republican strategy to become more like liberals, we ebbed and flowed right into the Socialist crap heap.

Oh yeah, and Jeb, those “good old days” we should stop thinking about actually appealed to everyone in the country, explaining Reagan’s massive landslide in 1984, winning 49 of 50 states, and losing Minnesota by just 4,000 votes. It was a landslide because Dems, Repubs, Indies, black, white, union, non-union, men, women, gay straight all loved the hawkish, small government, low tax authentic conservatism Reagan delivered in his first term. Americans across the board embraced those founding ideals then and do so now, personal freedom, the free market, and opportunity limited only by your imagination.

And re that commitment to listen to Americans? Perhaps Jindal, Bush, McCain Romney and Barbour should take a look at the message from 1.2 million Americans who gathered on Tax Day to protest and reject liberal policies started by Bush and now being pushed through on steroids by Urkel. In introducing the Repubs new, but rather late, little gathering of the Dead Old Party’s Old Guard (and their Chosen Sorta Young with Different Complexion Guy who’s a strange combo of Howdy Doody and Mr. Rogers), the National Council for a New America wants to hear from you! I would hope you might have a few things to say to these incompetent losers.

Okay, okay! Actually, to be fair to Jeb Bush, maybe we should send Reagan into the trash heap. After all, he left us with a ruined economy and our enemy undefeated and stronger than ever. Oh, wait a minute…
