Child molester inmate dies after choking on hot dog

ATWATER, Calif. (AP) Prison officials say a convicted child molester and kidnapper died last month after choking on a hot dog.

Forty-five-year-old Frederick Fretz was serving a 20-year sentence at the federal penitentiary in Atwater.

Prison spokesman Jesse Gonzalez says medics tried to remove the hot dog from Fretz's throat before taking him to a Merced hospital. He was pronounced dead on Dec. 19.

According to The Orlando Sentinel, Fretz pleaded guilty in 2005 to kidnapping an 11-year-old boy from Marion County, Fla.

I haven't had one in years, but tomorrow I will enjoy a hot dog from the famous Pink's Hot Dogs. While we can't reverse the damage he did, I will salute the fact that God apparently believes, as do I, that child molesters deserve the death penalty.

Rosie May Never Speak to Hasselbeck Again

Ah, the life of a MalNar. Me, me, me, me, meeeeeeee!

Here's an AP video report (it takes a second to load) about the current behavior and habits of the MalNar when its environment is disturbed by the rare but amusing Frothy Blond Bird. [Tell me what you think of this video clip service, btw. There's a commercial stuck at the beginning, but I think it provides another resource for info. Thoughts?].

It must be interesting the commit the sin of reminding a MalNar like O'Donnell that there are other people and other opinions out there in the world. It's at least nice to see it happen. It's also a good lesson to see what MalNars do when confronted, even by the reticent, they fall down like a very large house of cards.

On a video blog posting on her site (why does she insist on having her girth reproduced on camera?) O'Donnell also declares that it was the use of a "split screen" showing both her and Hasselbeck during the argument on The View that was the final straw. She says it made the show look like Jerry Springer. As opposed to her making it look like the Twilight Zone.

Hey, she should have been grateful for that split screen, it made her look exactly half her size. At the same time, it gave equal status to someone else, and we all know for MalNars, where every single thing has to be about them, that's a big no-no.

LA Gov Blanco Cancels Her Own Election

Rarin' to go, and already has more and better ideas for Louisiana than Blanco ever did. And won't stoop to pointing her fingers, er, claws at others when the going gets tough.

Louisiana Governor Kathleen Blanco should have resigned after her crippling incompetence was exposed during and after Katrina. Her stepping down would have allowed Louisiana to find someone with just a tad more skill and talent (like a raccoon for instance) who could have actually helped that state recover. Instead, she stayed, and continued to point fingers at national Republicans as she rearranged deck chairs on the Titanic.

Now Blanco has announced she will not run for re-election confirming her specialty at doing nothing, getting nothing done and turning away from a challenge. At least she's consistent. Gateway Pundit has video.

Louisiana Gov. Blanco Won't Run Again

Gov. Kathleen Blanco, whose popularity plummeted after two hurricanes devastated Louisiana during her term, announced Tuesday that she will not seek re-election.

The decision will let her get what she called important initiatives through an upcoming legislative session without having to worry about political considerations, she said in a television appearance Tuesday evening.

"I am doing this so we can work without interference from election year politics," Blanco said.

Oh, brother. So she's not running again so she won't feel compelled to further screw the people of Louisiana for her own political ambitions? Sheesh. Actually, the real reason is obvious:

Blanco, 64, had been widely criticized not only for her response immediately after the storms, but also for a bureaucracy-bogged recovery effort.

That effort included the "Road Home" program, designed to funnel billions in federal dollars to pay hurricane-struck homeowners for repairs or buyouts. More than 115,000 people whose homes were damaged in 2005 by the hurricanes have applied for the aid. As of this week, about 3,000 have received grants.

May she fade away and forever have a career selling shoes, where she can harm no one, and at least help people with something useful. Like getting rubber boots for really bad storms. Adios Blanco, and don't let that door hit you on the way out.

Now that this has been given the heave-ho, (and congrats to everyone who didn't watch this tripe or stopped watching) what will we all do without a major network making sure that America understands only a Democrat can be president? Mark my words, in these few remaining months (it's off the air in May) the Republican in the storyline will win the presidency, explaining the television equivalence of nuclear destruction: cancellation.

And it saved us some money. Yet, it shouldn't surprise anyone that the malignant narcissists in prison and on death row still only obsess about themselves.

I lift a glass to all the victims out there who hoped their killers would suffer, somehow. Well, at least some of them do.
