Weekend Tammy Radio Live, 4-7pm PT

Tammy Radio is live as usual from 4-7pm PT. If you don't have a local affiliate, you can catch the show live on Talk Stream Live. Just click on my name at that streaming web hub and you'll be connected to the show. There are a variety of streams provided, including KABC in Los Angeles and KDOX in Vegas. Often now on Saturday part of Tammy Radio on KABC is pre-empted for Dodgers baseball. If you are listening on the stream and would like to avoid that cut off, just choose the KDOX stream and you'll get live, uninterrupted Tammy Radio for the full 3 hours.

However you hook up, I hope to see you then.

UPDATE:

I want to thank all the internet listeners again for making Weekday Tammy Radio at the top of the pack on the national net stream. Weekend Tammy Radio is consistently #1. Here's a snapshot of an average Tammy Radio weekday rating. Thanks again!

Tammy Radio #1 Show on the Internet

While we love our terrestrial affiliates, the ratings are in for February 1st through April 30th, and I'm proud to say Tammy Radio is the number one internet radio program, big time! TSL says we're an 800-pound gorilla. I'd rather be a 125-pound gorilla, but I'll take it :) I want to thank all of you for making this possible. Now let's keep it going!

The Top 25 Talk Radio Rpt XXIII

The 800 pound gorilla has entered the room and her name is Tammy… You better be nice to her because Tammy Bruce has the #1 Talk Radio show on the Internet. Her amazing 18.9 share is an all time high at Talk Stream Live and it’s still growing! (the great John Mainelli would know what to do). Rush Limbaugh sheds 4 tenths and Laura Ingraham is now the third most listened to talk show. Michael Savage drops 6 and Glenn Beck gives back 3 tenths. Also, notable is that Mark Levin is in the top ten, and good old Rusty Humphries makes the top 25 list.

Filling In For Laura Ingraham on Monday

**Program Note: If you don't get Laura's show, or if your local affiliate isn't carrying my fill-in, you can hear the show at Talk Stream Live. KRLA in Los Angeles, as an example, doesn't carry my fill-in because I'm talent at a competing station, so choose the other available Laura link. Thanks :)

Once again, I have the honor of filling in for Laura tomorrow, Monday, May 5, 6am-9am PT. Yes, it is Cinco de Mayo. As most of you can imagine, I wouldn't necessarily suggest we all celebrate a Mexican holiday but in this instance it's special. Many think Cindo de Mayo is the Mexican Independence Day. That's not true--it's even better! The 5th of May is the day the Mexican defeated the French who were attempted to invade them. Oh sure, the French eventually occupied Mexico City, but the Mexicans eventually won.

Yes, even the Mexicans have defeated the French, and it is a holiday worth celebrating. So, have a Margarita, and perhaps some delicious Mexican food and offer a toast to the Mexicans who knew Mexico was worth fighting for. Those of us fighting for the border wall still believe that.

Filling In For Laura Ingraham Mon, Tues and Wed

For three days I'll be filling in at Laura Ingraham's radio show from 9am-12pm ET. In addition to her affiliates you can also catch her stream at Talk Stream Live. I've filled in for Laura before and her audience is smart and fun and it's always a great opportunity to introduce Tammy Radio to that national audience. I hope the Tammy peeps are able to tune in as well. It's always makes me more comfortable knowing you're there, too.

Hope to see/hear you there!

For those three days Tammy Radio will probably be a "Best Of..." If that changes and we have a guest host, I'll let you know here.

Filling In Tonight At KABC

From 7-10pm PT, I'll be filling in for Al Rantel tonight on my flagship in Los Angeles, KABC 790AM. The signal is heard throughout Southern California, but as most of you know you can also tap in at Talk Stream Live. During show time, just look for Al Rantel's name, click on it and you'll get me.

What a fun way to spend part of St Patrick's Day :) Hope you can tune in.

UPDATE:

Hmm, it looks like the Al link on TSl is gone, but you can always get the stream at KABC's official site.

KABC Programming Note at 6:30pm PT

Yes, at 6:30p PT they switched to Dodger Talk. There are a bunch of alternatives especially for those of you listening on Talk Stream Live which has multiple affiliate links. Just get out of the KABC link and hook up to the TRN or KDOX link which is live all three hours of the show.

Thanks :)

Tammy Radio: #1 On The Internet

I am humbled. But since I have tons of confidence, this won't affect my attitude one tiny bit ;) Seriously, a big thanks to everyone; I like kicking ass with you. I think it's safe to say it's the Independent Conservative revolution that has brought so many to the show as of late. A special thanks to Pat Ess for getting us hooked into Talk Stream Live, and to the TSL peeps who provide all radio to all the people all the time.

TalkStreamLive’s Top 25 Talk Radio Report XXI

Red Alert! Tammy Bruce is #1 and subsequently shimmering on Trent Lott’s radar screen. For those who have not been paying attention, the Senator is quoted: “Talk radio is running the country. We’re going to have to deal with that problem.” Well Senator, We The People, 78,735 unique listening sessions, have dipped our thumbs in purple Internet ink and voted. Tammy Bruce’s 10.2 share rating makes her the most listened to Talk Radio personality on the Internet — and by inference our first democratically elected female leader. Rush Limbaugh is #2 with an 8.0 share (Rush is still #1 on “old time radio” but most of us know that Radio’s future belongs to the Internet). Michael Savage is #3 with a solid 7.1 share. Laura Ingraham improves 6 tenths and we are happy to learn that Glenn Beck’s post surgery bum feels better as he squeezes out a 4.5 share.

Talk Stream Live's Top 25

After just one month on the internet stream hub, Tammy Radio has debuted at #6 for the entire quarter. Special thanks to Pat S. for making sure we were hooked up and available on this system, and to the TSL people for saying such kind things about us in their report.

TSL’s Top 25 Talk Radio Ranker XX

The big news this month is that Laura Ingraham steps up 6 tenths of a share and now ranks as the third most listened to Talk Radio Show on the Internet. Rush Limbaugh & Michael Savage continue in a dead heat for #1. Glenn Beck drops 8 tenths and checks into 4th place. #5 Sean Hannity gains 1 tenth and hello Tammy Bruce! (Tammy’s live show was added to the list in January so we only have 1 month of tracking on her for this report) Tammy Bruce is for the moment #6 with a 3.4 share. Her numbers portray a very strong and loyal following – her show’s share rating should continue to rise over the next 2 reports.

Filling in For Laura Ingraham Tonight, 7-10pm ET

As most of you know, every weekday Laura has a replay, with updates, of her earlier morning program air from 7-10pm ET on WABC in New York and a few other affiliates (the WABC show might start an hour later). Tonight, because of Super Tuesday, I will be filling in for the night time Laura Ingraham Show to give everyone up to the minute election coverage.

Some of your local affiliates may have other programming scheduled because of the election, but one way or the other there's 3 more hours of Yours Truly tonight from 7-10pm ET. :)

Woo hoo! Hope to see you then.

On KABC Radio Tonight, 7-9pm PT

kabclogo.jpg

Happy Friday night everyone. Tonight is my last night this time around filling in at KABC 790AM in Los Angeles from 7-9pm PT for my friend Al Rantel. In Los Angeles, we're at 790AM on the dial, and you can get the stream at Talk Stream Live (click on Al Rantel's name) or the KABC site.

Hope you can tune in.

UPDATE:

Al Rantel, for whom I've been filling in, has announced that he has been diagnosed with a highly treatable form of lymphoma and is now undergoing chemotherapy. I'll read his announcement letter on the air at the top of the 7pm hour. If you like, feel free to leave your messages here for Al, and the KABC website also has a place for updates and where you can leave your best wishes. Al's a great guy and considers his listenership his family. Please send your prayers and best vibes to him through this difficult time.

Tammy Media Update

FoxNews.jpg

First, I will be on the special O'Reilly Factor tonight after the Fox coverage of the Michigan primary. I think the program is set to air at 11pm ET (8pm PT). Bill's special focuses on the impact of talk radio on the election and how hosts view their responsibilities. My segment hits tonight at about :15 past the hour.

kabclogo.jpg

Also, pleased to let you know that in addition to regular national Tammy Radio, all week I will be filling in for Al Rantel from 6-9pm PT on KABC 790AM in Los Angeles. As before, if you're not in the Southern California area, you can tune in at Talk Stream Live (click on Al's name and you'll be connected) or at the KABC site.

Hope to see you then.

On KABC Again Tonight, Friday, 6-9pm PT

It has been confirmed, along with my buddy Johnny Phillips, I will be filling in for local KABC host Al Rantel tonight from 6-9pm PT. If you're in Southern California you can tune in at 790AM, and you also have two online options. Talk Stream Live has the show (just look for Al's name and they'll hook you into the KABC stream) or go directly to KABC's official site.

Filling in At KABC Tonight

From 6-9pm PT on KABC 790AM, I'll be filling in with Al Rantel along with my buddy John Phillips! You normally hear John when he guests on my Saturday show, and during the holidays when he was filling in a lot for a variety of hosts at KABC. Now they're teaming us up, for not other reason then perhaps they ate the wrong mushrooms today.

If you're not in Southern California, I think Al Rantel's 6-9pm PT show is listed at Talk Stream Live. if not, you can hook into the show at KABC's homepage.

No matter what happens, we'll at least all get cramps from laughing at the absurdity of our entire situation as living creatures, while simultaneously being thrilled to be alive. And we can at least mock Hillary Clinton. You know, the candidate who can't get elected president unless she cries. That woman. Yeah, if Barack Winfrey can make her cry I can't imagine what Ahmadinejad is capable of. I think we should just send her Depends right now so she can stock up.

Oh, and Bill Richardson has dropped out of the race. Gee, I wonder who he'll be endorsing?

UPDATE:

This original post was for Wednesday night. If you missed it, we may fill in again on Friday. I'll let you know as soon as I have the info. We had a blast, btw. It was truly fun and informative which is what we all live for. :)

Tatiana, killed unnecessarily.

Among all the other news of the day, we will, btw, absolutely be talking about the tiger attack at the San Francisco Zoo. Not only should they not have killed the tiger, isn't it time to close zoos down as public entertainment arenas? I certainly think so.

Hope to see you there.

kabclogo.jpg

For Christmas week I'm proud to announce that you can get a double dose of Tammy Radio! As many of you found out today, the national Tammy Radio program for this week will be "Best Of" replays. The show airs from 3-6pm PT (6-9pm ET) on KABC but you can hear it wherever you are via the KABC stream at the official KABC site.

After my show, please stay tuned to catch my friend Johnny as he fills in for KABC host Al Rantel. He'll be on the air from 6-9pm PT. Yes, we have your entire evening covered all this week on KABC 790am in Los Angeles.

Tammy Live on KABC/Malibu on Fire

Just a heads up everyone--starting at about noon on KABC I will be covering the new Malibu fire live and local. For those of you around the country, you can hook into that stream at the main KABC website. I'll be on locally only from 12p-3pm PT and then I will be live with my national program, Tammy Radio Weekend from 4-7pm PT.

KABC currently broadcasts my show on Saturday from 7-10pm PT but today they may take it live. Keep listening/reading and I'll update you as regularly as possible.

UPDATE:

We only did one hour of fire coverage, from 12-1pm PT. While the fire is still burning, the good news is the fire fighters seem to be keeping it somewhat contained. KABC has switched back to regular programming with extended traffic and fire updates. Tammy Radio for Los Angeles will air in its regular time slot of 7-10pm PT. Everywhere else the usual 4-7pm PT. You can also catch the show live at the Talk Radio Network site.

Tammy Vegas Trip Postponed

I was originally going to be in Las Vegas tomorrow and Saturday to visit my affiliate there, KDOX, because of their participation in the VFW parade on Saturday. For a variety of reasons, the parade date has changed and KDOX won't be in it. So, while I won't be there this weekend, we are working for a date for me to visit exclusively for Tammy events, location broadcasting and listener get-togethers. We'll make that happen asap. I know many of you were looking forward to it, but we'll be there sooner than later.

As soon as that date is decided upon, you'll hear about from KDOX, on my show and here on the blog. Thanks :)

Also, I'm on my way back from my Penn State speech. And while Tammy Radio has been on tape the last two days, we'll be back live tomorrow. I can't believe I was away during Sarkozy's visit, so I'll indulge in some of that commentary tomorrow, s well as all the other issues that showed up while I was in beautiful Pennsylvania.

Thank you everyone for your patience.

Kirsten Price. Your New Music for the Weekend

**Bumped up. After missing her last week, Kirsten Price will be on today's Tammy Radio. Here is the video of her new song for your viewing and listening pleasure.**

In "Freedom" from Kirsten Price we're asked what we're going to do with our freedom--a question not only for those for whom it is brand new (like the 53 million people we've liberated since 9/11) but for us who have had the beautiful challenge of it everyday of our lives. Watch the video. It's great music, a terrific message and comes with the bonus of the girl singer being especially hot.

It's not difficult to see why this young British singer/songwriter is a rising star. Kirsten will be on Tammy Radio Saturday at 4:30pm PT (7:30pm ET) live to talk about this new video and its message. I will inevitably get down to the serious business of teasing her about her British accent, all the while making her talk more so we can enjoy it. Fun will be had by all. Won't you join us?

I wasn't among them, in part because the president will only invite those whom he knows will then relay his message. The conversation was 'off the record' so the hosts who were invited are obligated to not give details of the instructions, er, conversation they had, but Hugh Hewitt makes it pretty clear what their marching orders were.

A Wartime President

President Bush invited ten talk hosts into the Oval Office for an hour of conversation today --Glenn Beck, Bill Bennett, Neal Boortz, Scott Hennon, Laura Ingraham, Lars Larson, Mark Levin, Michael Medved, Janet Parshall and me. This was an off-the-record conversation, and so I won't be quoting the president.

I will say on today's show that I am confident about the course of the war and about the momentum in Iraq, as well of the president's absolute commitment to doing right by the troops and his concern for every lost and wounded soldier and their families. President Bush's command of the details and his broad view of the conflict is reassuring, and among my comments to him was the wish that he found more opportunities to engage in long interviews that would allow the American public to see that grasp and that commitment.

Personally, I'm committed to the fact that what I say to you each day is based on my observations and understanding of the events that surround us, regardless of where that assessment will take me. I lived far too long in the muck of the left, spouting positions and making arguments others wanted me to make. If I didn't, I would be shunned. Those days are over. I think you, too, prefer knowing that you're hearing an independent assessment, even if you disagree with it, from the radio talk show host you're spending time with. At least you don't have to figure out whose talking points I'm reciting.

I like everyone who had the sit-down with the president. I'm also disappointed with each and every one of them.

Do I fret about the fact that I'm not invited to meetings with the president, or invited to dinners and parties at the White House? No, not at all. Is it exciting and glamorous? Probably, but I am more concerned with whether or not you would invite me to your house for dinner.

UPDATE:

To get a sense of the nature of the person sitting in that room, here is WDAY's Scott Hennen's blog entry about the meeting. I've never met Scott but I'm sure he's a great guy. But I must warn you-- you may get a sudden urge for a cigarette and some small talk after reading his report. Please note that he indicates Rush and Sean had their own separate, private meeting with the president after he chatted up the more lowly hosts.

Call Letters from Heaven: WWTF Assigned To Arizona Station

Those call letters and me, we were meant for each other. :)

And thank goodness Tammy Radio already has a home in Hawaii, KHBZ, otherwise we might have to deal with this.

Actually, when I think about it, where the heck is WFUK?!??!?!

I Could Blame It On Harry Reid...

But that would be giving him way too much credit. Of all days, Tammy Radio is experiencing a technical difficulty, so you're hearing a tape right now. I'm not sure how much of my opening you heard, but as of this moment, we're not live.

In the meantime, I will be sharpening my Extremist, Hateful Rhetoric agenda, aka Having an Opinion That Contradicts the Elitist Status Quo.

So, I ask for your patience, and as soon as we're back up I'll note it here. I'll be blogging as well.

Thanks, and again, congratulations everyone!

Just an aside, Fox is covering Paris Hilton, and how she's not using her "little girl voice" anymore. CNN is covering the cloture vote, the horrible floods in Texas, etc. (Head hangs. Sigh.)

UPDATE 10:00am PT:

We're back up. Tammy Radio will begin in four minutes. Sorry about that everyone.

One of the Many Reasons Why I Love Having a Radio Show

I just have to share something with all of you. Here is a typical email message to me from my radio producer Don. To reflect the frustration and insanity of the Amnesty Bill, and Bush and the Senate not giving a damn what we think (at their peril), I wanted a sound that would reflect us being stuck in a wormhole. Julia, a listener, suggested the following, which I then assigned to Don, my producer, to create. Here's his email to me tonight:

Tammy,

I have sent the infamous flushing sound to tammyaudio. What I put together was what I imagined it would sound like being in a public bathroom with a broken toilet endlessly flushing while Barbra Streisand was playing on the overhead speakers in the bathroom. Let me know what you think.

Don

I just think that's the funniest message I ever got. In part, because Don's serious, and also because I can't believe I'm so lucky to have a job where this is an issue. I just love it.

So, tomorrow on Tammy Radio you will hear our effort at what it must sound like to be stuck in a wormhole, which is probably a lot like being stuck in the elevator from Hell. Or, as we are experiencing now, being the sovereign of the greatest nation on Earth and having a bunch of Circus Clowns in Washington trying to sell this nation out to the lowest bidder.

Buenos Noches!

Lott Feels the Wrath of Talk Radio

After Senator Trent Lott complained that "talk radio is running America," and that "we have to deal with that problem," I don't think it's an overstatement that many Americans were appalled. Last time I checked, "talk radio" was the last geniune Town Hall available to the American people, the manifestation of freedom of speech; a place where we could speak our minds and discuss the issues in detail. It is the voice of the sovereign.

And now, the Senate doesn't like that one bit. Well, we don't like Lott one bit and now Lott is finding that there are repercussions to what he, and every other Senate Monkey says and does.

Talk radio turns on Sen. Lott

U.S. Sen. Trent Lott, R-Miss., has managed to rile up some of his core supporters - conservative talk radio shows nationwide from Rush Limbaugh to Neil Boortz as well as local Mississippi stations - with remarks last Thursday blaming talk radio for the collapse of the immigration bill.

"Talk radio is running America," Lott said last week. "We have to deal with that problem." [...]

Flagged by the Drudge Report on the Internet, the two-sentence comment reported by the New York Times has inflamed radio hosts and helped propel a small group of about 30 immigration bill protesters to Lott's Jackson office Tuesday, including a few radio hosts, who delivered petitions against the bill. Monday night the Lott comments were debated on Fox News' "Hannity & Colmes." [...]

Lott's office is downplaying the uproar over immigration, saying the minority whip wanted to get the Senate to act, not to get talk radio out of the picture. "Sen. Lott is one of the biggest talk radio participants," said Lott spokesman Lee Youngblood. "He's not going to do anything to pull the plug on talk radio."

Caroline Espinosa, spokeswoman for Numbers USA, a nonprofit group opposed to the bill, said she had done a number of interviews recently on talk radio and Lott's name kept coming up. "He doesn't like what talk radio is saying on this particular issue. I did a show in Colorado and they were offended that Sen. Lott was trying to shut the people up."

Punishment awaits.

"Best Of" Tammy Radio Today

Just a heads up that I'm taking the day off, so Tammy Radio will be a "Best Of." Even though a repeat, I'm sure it's still more than worthy to listen to, though :)

I just wanted to let you know that I will be filling in for Jerry Doyle today, another nationally syndicated TRN host. This means I won't be on Tammy Radio. Jerry's show airs 12p-3pm PT, and his stream can also be heard at Talk Radio Network.

"Inside Radio" Interview

An interview I did with Inside Radio, "ASCAP Presents The Mike Kinosian Interview: Tammy Bruce," has appeared. With print interviews, you never know how a profile will ultimately turn out, but I must say, this one is quite nice. My thanks to Mike Kinosian for such a comprehensive piece, and for being so kind.

In our increasingly chaotic world, run by men and women with either no character or courage, talk radio is truly the last medium where challenging authority is not only the order of the day, it is expected. It is indeed the last place where we can speak our minds without fear of retribution, but even that is now under increasing threat. I hope you like the interview. I think he captures the nature of what I try to accomplish with my radio show, and what drives me.

I hope your Monday went by smoothly, and that your week is as gentle as possible. Unless you listen to Tammy Radio, where the least I will do is make you laugh as the world jumps the shark. And tries to limit our toilet paper. As Condi Rice winks at Iran (again). And as Sheryl's idea so upset Rosie today on "The View," not because Rosie doesn't care about Global Whining, but because she complained her ass is big and she needs lots of TP. Well, that confession at least confirms one of the more oft-used accusations about the woman. I'll leave it at that.

Hot Air Posts My O'Reilly Segment

UPDATE: Apparently the Hot Air post is only aportion of the interview. Hutsutraw from the MySpace page has been kind enough to post the entire 5+ minute segment at YouTube, which I have embeddedhere. Thank you Darlene.

***

Thanks to Ian at Hot Air for making the video available. I think the subject matter--the ability of Americans to have a legitimately honest media and the freedom to speak one's mind without being targeted for annihilation by the New Gestapo--is of special importance. All of us rely on being able to express opinions and ideas that may contradict the status quo, challenge authority or the ruling class. Inevitably, those actions will offend someone, either through sloppy remarks or ideas being labeled 'offensive' because they confront power at the source.

This renewed attack on talk radio specifically has never been about 'decency' or minorities being 'offended,' it's about one thing--the use of those arguments as slogans in an attempt to get Americans to 'buy in' to the idea that a Gestapo is needed to protect us from ourselves.

Europeans bought that argument in the 30s and 40s. Are we willing to go down that same road? I think not.

Thanks Ian for the coverage.

On O'Reilly Factor Tonight

UPDATE: Timing has changed from the top of the hour to about half past.

It should be at half past the hour (5:30pm PT, 8:30pm ET). I'll be on alone with O'Reilly to discuss how the Imus firing is really the beginning of what the left hopes will be an ideological purging (silencing) of talk radio.

Keep in mind, Imus is not a 'conservative,' but he is also not a leftist. I see this attack on Imus very much like the attempt by Establishment Left to purge Lieberman (and what he represents) from the Democratic Party--there is indeed an ideological war going on, and even before the leftist gestapos out there feel they can turn to silencing conservatives, they have to purge their own house of liberals who don't pledge allegiance to the leftist worldview. It's why I get attacked by the left for not being a "real" Democrat and why Imus was one of the first on their Hit List to go.

It's very Maoist, and very dangerous unless we all speak up. I think we're a nation which can handle being occasionally offended, and can have that discussion socially. Yet, under the guise of protecting the apparently freakishly vulnerable and sensitive ears of minorities, we're being asked to punish and destroy only those who dare to question and decry leftism, issue dissent and cause a politically incorrect ruckus (the two usually go together). All of us would prefer a world where certain phrases aren't even considered as part of the social debate, but what this is really about is how far you are willing to be manipulated, in the name of 'decency', to allow and accept Stalinistic control over what can and cannot be heard.

For those who think this is about decency across the board, when Jesse "Hymie Town" Jackson and Al "Tawana Brawley" Sharpton call for the firing of Rosie "Ching-Chong" O'Donnell, then you'll have a point. But you won't because she's a loyal moonbat and has 'protection' to say whatever the hell she wants. Ching-chong to you, too.

In the meantime, it's safe to say this has nothing to do with "decency" and everything to do with ideology and the leftist politics of purging those who are unafraid and cannot be controlled.

Not that I have an opinion :)

I hope you can tune in.

Yes, Tammy Radio Internet Is Down

For the moment. We're working on it as we speak. Something about the server being overloaded or something...I'll let you know here when it's back up and running. Also, if you get suddenly get it would you post that here in comments? Thanks.

I know many of you rely on the net stream for the program, so I'm truly sorry this. I noted eariler last week that I'm now seriously looking into providing podcasts of the show so you can listen to it at your leisure. I'll keep you advised on that as well. If you are interested in getting a podcast of Tammy Radio (there may be a small monthly charge) please send me an email or note it here so I have a sense of what you think of the idea.

UPDATE:

Alternative stream available, thanks to the tip from Ashley in Comments:

TRN streaming is still down right now, but I would suggest that people can listen live at www.v1370.com which is Tammy's station in Baltimore.

About the podcasts, everyone I've talked to is very excited and is more than willing to pay (as we do for premium memberships for other talk shows). I started a thread on the MySpace Tammy Bruce Fan Club Group about what else we'd like with our Premium Membership ;) :p

Filling in for Laura Ingraham Thurs and Fri

Once again, I'm thrilled to be filling in for Laura's radio program, from 6am-9am PT. Most you know where you can find Laura, but here's her website so you can track it down if need be.

I truly hope you can all tune in. Her audience is great (which includes many of you, of course) and we have a terrific time. Here on the blog is your chance, too, to let me know what you really want to have discussed on the show. I'd love to know what's most on your mind. Thanks.

Special Sunday Tammy Radio Audio

I had a great time yesterday on Tammy Radio with Charles Johnson of Little Green Footballs. In case you missed it, Allah at Hot Air was kind enough to record and post the segment for your listening pleasure. We had some special fun with the moonbat anti-war rally, John Kerry bashing the U.S. while sitting on the same stage with the "Supreme Leader" of Iran (and then giving the genocidal savage his autograph!), and the BBC, for some reason (who knows why) being upset with LGF. The Lizards over at LGF also have some great comments about our discussion.

I also have for you something Maynard was kind enough to record and post the audio at YouTube. In "Economics, Tammy Radio Style," I explain, in a few brief words (including 'big fat Zebra,' 'gaggle' 'Scotty,' 'chunk of beef,' 'Alec Baldwin' and 'France'), everything you need to know about economic theory and practice.

Thanks to Rush

It's amazing what happens when you get mentioned on the Rush Limbaugh show. I didn't hear it myself, but apparently there ws some sort of discussion about me and one of my books. Well, the traffic here is through the roof. From the calls and emails I'm getting, it seems a caller mentioned me and there was a nice discussion. Thanks again to everyone for the heads up, and thanks to Rush and that caller (whoever you are) for the mention :)

Covering for Ingraham Tonight on WABC

For one hour, from 9-10pm ET, I'll be on WABC Radio and a few other Laura affiliates, covering the president's State of the Union address. During the speech, I've been asked to limit my 'color commentary,' (I guess they don't like the idea of my interrupting the president ;) But, if he stops before the top of the hour, I get the time that's left to rant. Keep your fingers crossed, as I continue to pursue world domination one radio station at a time. And if you're in NY, or can tap in via their WABC Radio net stream, listening to me cover the president will be infinitely more interesting than watching him tell us to pay more taxes, drive less, and explain how we're supposed to win the war when we don't even have the courage to name the enemy.

Not that I have an opinion. :)

Filling in for Laura Ingraham Radio Tomorrow

First, I'm sorry for the light blogging over the past few days. I have, once again, been jammed with various projects, which is a good thing, actually. I did want to check in with you so you'll know I haven't been carted away to Shanghai or something. I have a full list of items I want to share with you, and will indeed be chiming in here shortly. In the meantime, I want to thank Maynard for great posts (as always) and keeping the discussion going.

Also, just as a relatively early heads up, I will be filling in for Laura Ingraham's radio program tomorrow, Tuesday. Always a fortunate opportunity, I'm especially looking forward to it with the president's State of the Union tomorrow night and the reported tax hike he'll be announcing. More on that in a post dedicated to that lovely bit of news.

I'm off again to a meeting and then a crack at my genius chiropractor. When I return, I shall be in great shape, and raring to blog.

UPDATE:

Well, as Rosanne Roseannadanna would say, "Nevermind." Laura apparently had jury duty tomorrow, but now that has been cancelled. So, alas, I will not be filling in for her. The good news is you get your Laura. The bad news is we'll have to wait until next time for me to expand my dreams of world domination.

Or, as Scarlett O'Hara would say (clearly moving up the chic foodchain from Ms. Rosannadanna), "Tomorrow is another day." Yes, indeed it is.

Schedule Change for Tammy Radio on KABC Los Angeles

**I'm moving this post up from last week for those of you who missed this announcement. KABC should also also be airing announcements of the change**

Just to let you know so you're not confused today, Tammy Radio Saturday will now be heard from 7pm-10pm PT on KABC in Los Angeles. A few other ABC affiliates may also be making this change, but every other affiliate remains the same.

Also, if you listen via our free internet stream at Talk Radio Network, that is always available from 4-7pm PT on Saturdays. KOGO in San Diego also has the stream, and has a pretty powerful signal. I know many of you in Southern California listen to that station which continues to air the program starting at 4pm PT.

Today, in addition to dealing with everything that happened last week, today we will obviously deal with Hillary Clinton's announcement that she's running for president. We will also be joined by blogger Ed Driscoll and So Cal animal guy Justin Rudd with news of his Bulldog Beuty contest for charity.
