A Bozo Yankee in St. James Court

Specifically, it's Barzun not Bozo. Easy mistake. Matthew Barzun is the new U.S. ambassador to UK (St. James Court). He serves fried catfish, corn dog canapés, and Pabst Blue Ribbon on a pyramid of chocolates at summertime music parties he hosts. He was born in NYC, raised in Lincoln Mass. (between Lexington & Concord), attended Harvard, and is a descendant of John Winthrop, founder of the Mass. Bay Colony. I'm sure those are his favorite foods. He may sell himself as down to earth, but that strikes me as elitist looking down on the peasants. Hot dogs, corn on the cob, potato chips, and ice cream would be better.

Although I'm a Jim Beam person, I feel sad for Jack Daniels that he's the husband of its heir. He is the opposite of JD.

According to our favorite online reference website, this is what he’s done:

“He is a business executive who is known for his work with CNET Networks
and for his volunteer work on Barack Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign.
He served as U.S. Ambassador to Sweden from 2009 to 2011. He was selected by President Barack Obama as National Finance Chair for the president’s 2012 re-election campaign.”

    That’s it…
